It's weird how the "investigation" didn't reveal (probably intentionally) how the 1st part of the journey started, before it got to Rotterdam. I do not think it was sent directly from Mercedes or an authorized dealer. Most of these armored vehicles (same as limousines) are not actually modified by the manufacturer, but by specialized companies. I feel it's unfair to Mercedes Benz that this report didn't mention that, and is voluntarily insinuating that they were somehow involved in this deal. Once they sell a car, whatever happens to it is OUTSIDE of their control. The same goes for all consumer goods.

Strongly encourage people to watch the documentary "The Mole: Undercover in North Korea", it walks through the story, complete with hidden recordings, of how a Danish cook tricked North Korean officials into a fake weapon's deal with a Norwegian oil billionaire, in the process exposing just how they conduct business on an international level and evade sanctions.
