Clearly in what players and coaches says about that time. It’s Kobe’s team. He shaped them up and made them better. Look at wade’s and coach k’s interview saying Kobe did not mind to score but instead to defend the opponent’s perimeter player. He studied opponent’s weakness and made a play. That you can’t put in the stats.

Great vid!! It was amazing to see Kobe's impact on the other players, especially Wade. Dude went to another level. Never seen him play with such an electric ruthless energy like that before especially on defense. To me he was like the mvp of that '08 Olympics and Melo the '12 Olympics. Iono to me that '08 Olympics showed and reminded how much defense is important and the physicality thats been missing in the NBA since the 90s. The international play is more physical than the NBA. The NBA seems to have gone too far in the entertainment direction. After those Olympics the NBA should have for "one season" re-implement the defensive rules of the 1999 season. To answer your question at the end of the video. Kobe has always been my favorite player but man those guys going up against the Bigs alone.. Barkley, Malone, Ewing, Robinson.. shiiiiii and then you have Magic, Drexler, Pippin, Stockton in the backcourt... And MJ good God 🙈🙈🙈 I'm sorry but that 90s physical style of play goes perfect with the international play. Dream team got that one

We're all leaving this earth someday, but it's just such a shame that Kobe lost his life so soon. He was truly a basketball legend. He took up where Jordan left off, and was even better than Jordan, in some aspects of his game, such as 3pt shooting, where his stats tower over Jordan. Will there ever be another Kobe Bean Bryant ? I really don't think so. I feel blessed to have been a witness to the greatness of players like Jordan, Bryant, Bird, Johnson, Wilkins, Duncan, Miller, Wade, etc. The game is still great, but not the same. Kobe has had the biggest inpact on the game way more than Steph mainly because Kobes impact was way more beneificial he impacted an entire generation Lebron, Wade, Bosh, Davis, Tatum, Booker, Paul, Cp3, kawhi, kyrie to play defense and out work everyone and never underestimate your oppennent. Curry has just added on to D tonie system and those Suns and Mavs teams. He made the game worse shoot 30 3’s no mid range no post no true big man. And he only influence bum kids and players like trey young and melo ball. Without Kobe Lebron would t be as good neither would the next generation.

Kobe, yes you’re right. But Wade? Definitely not. LeBron was rising to another level at that time. Wade was incredible a couple years earlier in the 2006 Finals, and maybe you could have said he was better at that time. But I don’t see how you could say Wade was a better basketball player than LeBron from 2008 and on.

@@n.o.vativesports8504 What tf research have you done? Explain to me how Wade was a better than LeBron at that time. He didn’t score more that LeBron. He was less efficient than LeBron. He wasn’t a better defender than LeBron. He wasn’t a better facilitator or floor general than LeBron. I’ll give you that Wade was more consistently confident in the clutch than LeBron at that time, and was a better free throw shooter. Wade obviously had won a chip and was Finals MVP in 2006, and he was incredible in that postseason. He also got to have a great team around him, with one of the GOAT coaches. By 2008, both of them were the entire show for their respective teams, and had a bunch of no-names around them. LeBron became the MVP, and led his teams to the best regular season record. If your reason for claiming that Wade was better than LeBron at that time is because he had won a title a couple years before, then there’s no point in even arguing with you. But please, explain to me how you arrived at your conclusion.

Kobe was always about winning and about leading by example. If you were in the gym with him at 4, 5 in the morning everyday, he'll pass that ball. If you don't and he's never seen you take being a pro player seriously, then in his mind why the hell do you deserve to shoot a shot at all? How can I trust you at all? So when he has like minded individuals who can follow his example, that team immediately contends for titles.
