The books/bookshelves and Bas relief in Cove are actually a great way to farm positive quirks Make sure to only get them after you've cleared the map to avoid fighting with negative quirks/stress nuke

Also, if you want to remove negative perks (including the pesky locked in ones) You can try bringing medicinal herbs for eerie coral in Cove Torch for pile of scrolls in Warren Interact with confession booth in ruins Or holy water for eldritch altars which can be found everywhere! Great if you wanna save money and time removing negative quirks

I mean it makes sense in the game's world's logic. Being a nymphomaniac keeps your mind away from the eldritch horrors that could cause you stress and being scientific makes it so the *real* (as in they actually happen) effects of faith are less effective on you (although it's a shame it doesn't improve the effect of things like Battlefield Medicine or other science-based heals)
