A simple life can bring wealth in many ways
@Dancerlil11 ай бұрын
You & your husband are living such a beautiful, inspirational & thoughtful life. Funny that I also had steamed sweet potato, beet, leek & green beans for dinner last night which all came from my local farmers market. I feel so blessed to have them nearby. I have decluttered so much & yet I still find some things to let go of here & there. I still have a dream to live in the country or small village & so it benefits that potential future move. I also have my mother as a beautiful example of simple living. She made her transition seventeen years ago. She even gave my sisters and I some items we had given her. She said she was wanting to make things as simple as possible for us for when her time came. And so I also keep this in mind when decluttering & downsizing my belongings. Thank you for your lovely shares. They are a blessing as you are. Liliane

I enjoy your videos and it brings me to my childhood memories. Life was so simple then, due we didn't have a lot of money. Toothpaste was baking soda and also deodorant, liquid dish soap was also bubble bath. Thanks for bringing all that back.

Dear Connie, thanks for this inspiring video. I truly see the benefits of finding authenticity to what I'm passionate about vs trying to chase an aesthetic pleasing, idealistic life I could never "reach", making me feel constantly wanting more of something. Thanks sweet Connie!🙏

Mama Byerfilms here; a bar of Castile soap for shampoo, no conditioner, organic corn starch for deodorant (non organic corn is all gmo).
@barbaradelira679011 ай бұрын
My cousin's hairdresser told her to use inexpensive shampoo like white rain & it worked for her. My sister & I just rolled our eyes at each other. If Castile soap or white rain without conditioner works for you & my cousin, I guess that's ok. Some of us have dry, coarse, thick curly hair & have to use good shampoo & conditioner or we can't even get a comb through it!!

Connie, Thank you sooo much for your deodorant recipe. It is the best I’ve ever used and far better than store bought. Now everyone who I can get to try it loves it and uses it too. The only thing I do differently is to add cornstarch and a few drops of lavender essential oil. It’s hard to mess this recipe up. ❤❤

@ConnieRiet11 ай бұрын
If you can find organic, I would use it. The fragrance is usually all-natural and can add a nice smell.
