When I first went to miami, no one told me that the 6 oz cup of cafe cubano was supposed to be shared in those little cups. I drank the entire thing. I'm VERY immune to the effects of coffee but OH MY LORD i was wired for HOURS. lmaooooo. Good times.

You don't have to share your cafe cubano if you are drinking it yourself. I do that all the time as my wife who is Cuban and my daughter don't like it. So, no one to share with and thats okay with me.

Cubans dominate and are everywhere in Miami and Florida buddy. The Cuban community alone is 70 percent of the Hispanic population in Florida. These other latin communities are very small compared to the cuban community in Miami And Florida and thats how it has and always will be because Cuba is 90 miles from Florida.

Im trying to make cuban coffee. The only difference with me is in using a French press instead of a traditional moka pot and a milk throfer. I do get that caramel when mixing and foam. Just not strong as people say....or that could be me. Many people react to caffeine differently.

I do not know what you mean by the "cat stories" the only thing I can think of is some stories about Cubans eating cats (in the island) during the "special period" and recently because of all the food scarcity. But those are horror stories to us. We do not eat cats or dogs.

That is not true. But must of us prefer speaking Spanish.
@SuperRip7 Жыл бұрын
@@latengocomoburro Every time I hear that statement, I palm my face. Anytime I hear, I just know that person went to school but for some reason never became fluent in English because they were never motivated enough to so so. Thus they were never comfortable with English to begin with. Which is why I shudder every time Miamians call their city a "bilingual city." Miami is the only America city nicknamed the "capital of Latin America" and the only way to succeed is to know Spanish. From flower seller to boarding room at City National Bank of Florida off 100 SE 2nd Street. In conclusion, Miami is one of few top-down cities in which Spanish is vital if ordinary people want to live here.
