It would be GNEISS if you check out Stellaris Nexus, which totally ROCKS here: play.paradoxinteractive.com/ambiguousnexus (Sponsored by Paradox) - They're also doing a playtest this week before the release - so don't pass this one up if you're interested in trying it out.

This would make for a great movie or a Series where a galactic War happens and a third party just enrich themselves at the expense of everyone else, making themselves look small and insignificant in the grand scheme of things, only for them to take control of the Galaxy through commerce, culture, bribery, etc. And it's impossible to remove them from power, their homeworld is impenetrable thanks to all the technology and wealth they've amassed, the alliances they forged and you can't just siege them, their homeworld is self-sufficient.

My God, your allegory for the American ecopolitical system is brilliant. Never directly invading but openly selling to any one and pitting others against each other. Controlling from behind the curtains with the most advanced technology and mountains of cash. Lashing out only when directly threatened but doing so with extreme force and precision. American truly is rock hard.

I'd love to see you guys play tropico multiplayer. It's unfortunate because the multiplayer is completely dead because you need at least a few friends willing to sit and play for like a whole day. But it's all worth it to see your army March across your friends border and begin to wage war as they March for the capital. Or to see your "secret agents basically commit acts of terrorism in your friends country to destabilize and cause chaos.
