You talking about going back and forth between kids made me smile. I am a former elementary teacher and teachers in the school do the same thing, except they have 30 kids to jump between. So kids in school just have to wait longer. Homeschooling moms shouldn't worry about having to make their kids wait for help. 😊

Loved this video! So fun to see another homeschool mama’s routine. My 4 kiddos are much younger at 9,5, and 3 for school, but this is our 7th year homeschooling. We do basket time too and then our independent/ mommy one on one subjects. I learned about the Good and the Beautiful through your channel and we are so so loving it this year!! Thank you!

You guys are quick! My kids are grade 6, 4, 3, k and then a toddler and when we made the switch to TGTB LA it greatly increased our lesson time. 8:30 to 4ish for us (4 days a week)!

Is the Church timeline book Mormon? Also, something that has worked great for us is them doing handwriting while I read History at our dining room table. One thing done and checked off as they listen. ;)

I am late in watching this video. But I can't remember seeing a video of your kids schedule? I would love to see one. As I am gearing up for next year's homeschool. My son will be in 4th this next school year. We are just wrapping up 3rd now. But I haven't found a good schedule that sticks. I'm also wanting to make him a little more independent next year.

When they do open ended things like the history letters, do you put a time limit on it? I feel like with some of those things my oldest would take alllllll day so a lot of times he has to pause his work and move on so the rest of us can and then he has to finish at the end of the school day

This was great to see. My daughter is about to start 3rd grade work. How long does it take your kiddo about that age to do math? And how long is given for independent reading? Our day seems to take forever and I would love to finish by lunch. I know her math can drag on as she doesn't like it. I am changing curriculum to make it quicker buf I am wondering what a reasonable time slot would be.
