How long it took for my Online US Passport Renewal | Don't make this mistake in 2023

It is like you and I have the exact thinking process! I applied on March 7th, just to log in a few days later to see it was paused! I was sure it would take forever to get my passport, and we weren't really sure when we were going to travel. So just to be safe, after about a week or 2 i went ahead and got the expedited processing. I was settled in for a long wait, but was pleasantly surprised when my passport showed up on April 18, just over a month after i applied!

I'm mailing mine and want to expedite the passport, Do you have to write departure times and arrival time ? In the application ? I haven't buy traveling tickets but I want my passport renewed as soon as possible. Thanks

@chamogarcia4401 You do not have to put departure times on application. They will look at your departure date and try to get it back to you before that departure date you put on the application.

@stevekim6862 I did not have to send in my expired passport. You supply the passport number online and they void it in their system.
