How long to Max Power Output?

I've had a few people looking for details on how long it takes for the GT to get to Maximum Power Output, so I made a video on my drive to work this morning. Keep in mind, this is with a 70s-ish ambient temperature. I am also not in GT mode during the drive...but Normal mode. I don't know that it makes a difference. What do you think?

Very interesting and informative. Question: Once you get to 86°F, {Max Power}, how long will they stay at Max power output, and how much energy does it consume to keep them at Max power temp? Just wondering. 🤔

How do you activate this setting? I also own a 23 GT model but I can't seem to find that setting you're referring to here, there's no menu for me which shows me this stuff. Do I have to do infotainment system update?

It's only available on the right-side slider. You should have several things you can scroll through (up and down) and that is one of them. Are you able to get to that side panel?

@@EVERYTHINGcpo found it thanks! There are lotta useful gadgets tucked away in that slider and I kinda got nostalgic it gave me windows vista gadgets vibes.

They really need to allow a toggle or something in the cars settings or the app or both so while plugged in and using electric from the grid you can preheat . It’s a great example of engineering brains not thinking of something so simple . The only reason most people would buy the Gt and deal with less range/more cost/ non power seats as so on is for the performance benefits that to fully exploit you need a trip at minimum longer then 15 minutes even when warm out …. Really silly . Kia get on it and add an option when remote starting to preheat for optimum performance!
