Hey, I too have printed these in PLA. I'm surprised you didn't print everything in resin since you had a resin printer?? I did FDM printing and tried to sand out the layer lines. Dry brushed paint finish too. Great job!

@Pjiggy yeah, I don't even see the point in not including the sculpture in these videos. Like is he trying to take credit for the paint and sculpt? It is super easy to find the artist if you know where to look. And these paint jobs are really good, why would you not post your work and see if they would sponsor your next piece? Make zero sense.

great job on the painting honestly is making me looking at actual painting instead of only airbrush. but wondering why is there an L.A. AVE when they are from the best city ever NY? just wondering i mean they did travel there time to time in some series but just an oddity i guess. but seriously love the finished product and nice to see you using both fdm and resin.

I'm confused why people mix resin and FDM like this. I see a lot of people use FDM for bases and resin for the figure. Why not just do the whole thing in resin? Scale?

Resin for large bases is sooo expensive and mostly need to be broken into smaller pieces. Fdm is larger, and bases are usually lower detail than the main character.

I think he meant that it's not common to make the character in resin (arms and weapon) and FDM (Body and legs). ​@@demijebus6831
