New idea: Alternate Reality Chess Pawns: can move 2 squares even after first move and can move backwards Knights: move in a G like shape (2 left/right, then 2 up/down, then 1 left/right) Bishops: Move one diagonal next to the diagonal it’s on Rooks: Same as before but you have to skip one square. So you can move 2, 4, 6 squares, you can’t move them an odd number of squares Queen: same as the rook concept but you can move odd number off squares instead of even King: can now be captured if not moved, blocked or captured the attacker while in check
