@@ally.w6409 I personally don’t use waste yarn with the beanies, as find you don’t need to… I do for headbands though, as you need to create a flat seam on either end, and I guess you’d use the same for scarfs too ☺️

My first Sentro machine lasted after 20+ hats. The hand gear is just worn off and gave a bumpy crank. Well to be fair it's my first knitting experience so it's maybe because of my heavy-handed dumb experiment 😂😂😂. My second one now is well taken care of from a much better experienced knitter 😂😂😂.

@@angelad7164 thank you for your comment ☺️ I’ve got another video up on my channel showing how to make a child beanie (this shows step by step abit closer so you can see me picking up the stitches etc). Although if you want to make an adult beanie just extend this to 140 rows. The wool I’m using is by the he woman’s institute from hobbycraft (Aran weight in a 400g ball). I hope you can make one for your sister, sending her all the best through chemo x

Don’t waste your money on the Sentro, get the addi knitting machine instead.

I’ve already bought it, and so far I’ve not had any issues. Is the addition knitting machine what you use? How are you finding it?

​@@Samrayner88: If you are going to be knitting large quantities of items, or doing a lot of knitting, the Addi King circular knitting machine will be your best bet. Yes, it cost more, however, it is a better quality made machine. If you are going to be doing light knitting and not using your machine constantly than enjoy your Sentro. I own both the the Addi King (46 needles) and the Sentro (48 needles). I'm on my 2nd Sentro and still using my original Addi King (5 yrs old).
