Wario's waft isn't a windbox, but its velocity will get multiplied and KO him rather easily if he gets pushed by a vertical windbox. It's actually been the case since as far back as Brawl where it was particularly easy to induce with G&W's janky uair windbox, coupled with AI Wario's tendency to unleash fully-charged wafts while you're below him.

Terry does a flip and immediately leaves the ground, theirfore he cannot cancel a move that puts him in free fall. And then the super special moves are probably a balance mechanic so you don't do 80+ damage with a final smash.

The secrets within Pac-Land I can believe might be in relations to the original game it's based off of. The whole Hydrant Giant power-up secret from the previous video and this one is based on the helmet item he gets when pushing a Hydrant backwards. I don't know the original game well enough, but I bet the references there might explain the balloons or the invincible power-up by the cactus. It could be entirely random still, but it's all the more reason I appreciated this stage from the start when hardly anyone else liked it.

I imagine that the take a stock mechanic is based on whether or not you're in control of your character. If you press A+B normally, it just does whatever that would do during gameplay, so if you're in a gameplay state, you can't take a stock. You have to be not in control of a character to use the take a stock mechanic.

13:21 It's probably because if you hit an invincible opponent, you still hit their hurtbox, even if they take no damage. I think they programmed the taunts like this: If you hit a fighter's hurtbox, play success animation. Else, play fail animation. This would explain why the success animation plays if you hit Sandbag or an Assist Trophy, since they have fighter-like hurtboxes (probably belonging to the same class in memory), but plays the fail animation on items since they have more specialized hitboxes designed specifically for items, and also plays the fail animation for Shields since shield hitboxes are completely different than the regular fighter hitboxes and are almost certainly a different class in memory.

If you cape players as Mario while they’re in the air with the clock item’s slomo effect they usually fly up and pretty high as well. I used this on Falco and Ice Climbers and Falco went flying up like 4 of the big blocks on the training stage.

I always thought it was really neat how pausing in Practice mode on Mute City SNES the fighters can stand safely on the racetrack. This applies to all stages where touching the ground would normally hurt you.

Finally make a custom stage with wind going down in the middle with max wind power, play the stage and go cloud against any character but i got it to work with diddy kong, get clouds final smash, use it and connect it then if the wind is in the right spot, the person getting omnislashed will fall out but cannot move, every attack exept the final hit will connect as cloud goes right through the enemy.

Most likely the reason Incinaroars smash attack success animations depend on if it hits a hurt box which is why it activates when hitting an invincible opponent. But if it doesn’t activate when hitting a breakable item like the crate it means that there are different types of hurt boxes ie king k tool belly armor

9:37 I've been experimenting with other characters, and it seems as though all reflectors that cover the character's body does this trick. For example, if you spam Fox's Reflector, the same thing will happen. The same goes for Zelda's Neutral-B. The only characters that have this mechanic are Fox, Wolf, Zelda, Villager, Isabelle, and surprisingly, King K. Rool, all taking about 54% in total. For King K. Rool, however, when you spam his Down-B, it does not react as a counter, but as a reflector. I can tell because, with characters that counter (take Lucina as an example), they take no damage if you just counter the bees. There might be more characters that have this mysterious bee mechanic, but I'll leave that for you to discover.

I'm curious about something. We've established that Jiggly's rollout is faster than Sonic's run. We've established Ridley's Side-B can slide faster than Big Blue. The things that training mode keeps consistent are based off the game seed, which is the same in training mode. The stuff that changes is an RNG call, which is random each time. Generally, level wide events will be from the seeds and smaller more specific details are RNG calls.

This is just something random I realized, but in a squad strike if Kirby copies his opponent's ability and the opponent then dies ,causing them to switch to another fighter, Kirby loses the ability....but If Kirby copies one of pokemon trainers abilities and pokemon trainer switches pokemon, Kirby doesn't lose the ability....random but I thought I'd point it out

I found something interesting with Kirby and special abilities. If Kirby inhales and copies someone like Robin or Inkling upon losing all your magic or your ink tank is empty then your copy ability goes as well. Interestingly enough if you lose your copy ability in this way the damage buffs from the ink are still applied but if you taunt to get rid of it then the damage buffs go away as well

If you use a timer item on a Joker that has Arsene out, Arsene will stay for way longer than 30 seconds... So Arsene isn't affected by the game's speed, but by Joker's speed ? And I noticed that Shulk's monado arts aren't affected by the timer item and will be normal

If you use Ridely's skewer on someone while transforming into metal with the box it will cancel or revert the transformation.

The combo thing in training mode stop showing your combo after a couple of seconds and if you do it with frame by frame you can make your combo disappear, but it still exists so if you hit with a move that combo the combo counter will catch up

In fountain of hope the pikmin stage, play little mac and if you have final smash go in the cup thing and when it is fully built use mac's final smash and miss and seconds after there will be a giga mac punching for a few frames, I am preety sure it is just a visual glitch but cool to look at.

Random fact: in the stage Find Mii the Dark Emperor gives random power ups. Some of the power ups he can give are attack boost, special boost and general stats boost. Are some of them more effective than others? Does the attack boost increases projectile power (super mush boosts melee attacks but not projectiles)? Does attack boost increase special moves power? What are the multipliers?

Those stats are the same stats as the ones used in the Smash 3DS mode Smash Run, and on the StreetPass Quest stage the Dark Emperor changes those exact stats. The attack stat increases damage dealt with all neutral, strong, smash and aerial attacks, the special stat increases the damage (and sometimes range, on moves like Lucario's up special, in Smash 4) of special moves, and an all buff increases all your stats, granting the same benefits as both of the above plus strengthened grabs, enhanced speed and jumps, greater defence (both reduced damage and reduced knockback) and even stronger items in Smash 3DS. Interestingly, while the tips say the Dark Emperor is invincible, you can actually attack and damage it whenever it starts fighting on the stage itself, and if you do enough damage you can make it go away, with whoever got the final hit getting a guaranteed all stats boost.

Anyway I was doing some testing and fully charge smash attack with the attack boost had an higher damage than one under effect of a all stats power up gained "defeating" the dark emperor. Maybe I made something wrong, maybe the boost is random in ultimate, i dunno. Since i haven't done a serious testing I thought it would be cool to see some results in the series

I can assume that, because pocket grants invincibility and that the bees latch on to you, when you gain that I-frame, the bees unlatch, and then immediately reconnect to you, causing the initial hit again. If you spam pocket, you’ll keep getting hit by the initial hit.
