Yup, I use them a lot as well. I'll be talking about those when I start talking about specialised training (after covering reps, sets and resting periods).

Very important no not be limited but the traditional rep range and know that all rep ranges have their own benefits and all should be included into your periodization. Keep it up!

great channel! you are an inspiration brother. lots of great info in this video! my experience has been: concentrate on achieving perfect form in the basic movements: pullups, pushups, squats, dips. then work to do as many reps as possible. always more reps and sets. try to set an insane goal for yourself. the first day I did 1,000 pushups I broke through a mental plateau. Bam Bam is right, supersets is the way to go. it limits rest time, making a calisthenics workout also a cardio workout. i like to superset muscle groups. pullups with calf raises. pushups with jump squats. handstand for time with walking lunges. thanks for your channel, keep pumping out great content! #EIB

I have been using medicine balls in various ways to make my push ups more difficult. Elevating my feet, one or both hands and even feet and hands at the same time.

Do you ever do 150-200 sets a day with a weight vest? I can do 25 push-ups with a 20lb weight vest. Should I try doing 150-200 for 6 days in a row to gain chest mass?

One-arm Push ups ;) , amazing for the hole upper body and core since they act as an anti-rotary mechanism. I actually talked about it in part two (which I'm uploading today )

so is there a difference between high volume training and endurance training?
@BodyweightMuscle6 жыл бұрын
Hi Johnny, high volume means a lot of sets, whereas endurance means high reps.
@robtilley91677 жыл бұрын
Hi there, Will you still get volume increase from push ups if you do a lot of reps but spread over the day. for example 5 sets of 20 and build from there????
