I feel like anytime you intentionally stood still and rotated to farm random encounters was against the spirit of the challenge, and now we have a very skewed idea as to how many steps it really takes to be a pokemon master, but it is still impressive.
@mistercbodyАй бұрын
Eh, anyone could spin around for encounters. I usually only do it in the safari zone but felt it would be helpful for this challenge in the overworld

@ still may require a mod to get in game steps, but at least the pokewalker could help you get encounters & items
@mistercbodyАй бұрын
@@jamesstone404 true, I sadly don’t have my OG pokewalker. I’m not sure if it’s true but I recall seeing somewhere that you can’t link up different pokewalkers with different cartridges, but that may be false
@jamesstone404Ай бұрын
@ i think there is a way, but you may have to reset the save file. I could be wrong though. I think once a pokewalker is linked with a save file, you can’t send out a Pokémon, but you can receive gifts (watts and items) from any pokewalker. I also remember someone saying that you can buy a Japanese pokewalker cheaper because once it syncs with a Game it adopts the language of that game. But it’s worth researching to see. Your videos are great!

For your next challenge I suggest you the following team: Starter: Whichever you want, why? Because you're gonna release it as soon as you catch your first pokemon. 1- Mankey/Primeape. Route 22, easy to get. 2- Pikachu/Raichu: You gotta grind for it in Viridian Forest, you need it for Misty. 3- Clefairy/Clefable: Welp another grind, but hey, you have the MoonStone to evolve it quickly! 4- Doduo/Dodrio: Route 16, just at the perfect time for a flyer! 5- Krabby/Kingler: Well, you just aquired the Good/Super rod, and you need a surfer soooo... gotta put it in good use! Don't complain, you can get it almost everywhere! 6- Wait, no Fire type? Ok ok, Ponyta/Rapidash. I mean, we have the Sevii Islands, so let's seize them! Why? Because why not.
