i appreciate you for this chris , it’s interesting im 23 and currently going through a tough breakup that i initiated cause i never felt like she truly cared about me. made me feel unworthy of love. going through very fluctuating sad and angry moments throughout my days but as you’ve mentioned i feel as i just hit that “next gear” now I’m 2x locked in to the gym, taking supplements, doing your facial exercises, super strict meal prep, mastic gum chewing, neck training, 2 jobs and back doing boxing again. i’m filled with anger and vigor, with the goal of becoming so great so she regrets not appreciating me when she had the chance. thank you for being such a great father figure in my life

Kris, curious on your thoughts about maintaining a stoic mindset while also tapping into masculine anger… are these contradictory or can they work hand in hand?

@@1STMANIn addition to previous comment. How does it work with love and relationship? Especially if you think about stoicism as "indifference" then you have two states of mind fighting each other.

It's crazy how similar Kris's mind works to my own. The analogies make perfect sense and it like he's fast tracking my realizations on how the world / success works by turning around some gears in my brain. I feel like my mind has matured to what it would be at 30 from pure trial and error at 23 from this channel's advice. I suspect that the reason may be that most people on this channel, perhaps even including Kris, are mildly on the Autism spectrum in how we gamify life and systematize the way we think about things. While on one hand we might be weird, we can also really use these systematizing tendencies to achieve amazing results in life.

I suggest reading a book 'Bruce Thornwood: Unveiling Your Hidden Potential' if you want to know how to man up. Just follow everything writer suggests in there, it's one of the best reads I had in a while.

I don't want to be a downer guys, but I want to add some reality to this conversation. I'm 46 years old and I've been getting knocked down and getting back up the whole time. You know what I've come to realize? Eventually, it's better to just stay down. Why build yourself back up again and again only to end up worse off than you were before? Not everybody is destined for greatness or even a moderate level of success. When you accept your lot in life, you will be free from all the suffering that comes with unrealistic ambition and unrealized dreams. Best wishes.
