@@etherealhatred Any time Silver returns from the future, the future is a destroyed wasteland because Sonic and his friends Lose. In 06, Silver's world is a wasteland taken over by Iblis, due to it being released from Elise's death. It ravaged the world while Sonic and His friends were powerless to stop it. This changed for Sonic and his friends thanks to Silver and Chaos Control. During the Zombot series, Silver comes back from a dead robot future. No life, no lights, nothing. Everything is dead and metallic. This is undone when Silver helps Sonic turn into Super Sonic during the final act, saving everyone and destroying the zombot virus.

a Discord server I'm in actually has a collective headcanon/theory that could bump the technicalities up one. In IDW #56, during Sonic's fight with Surge, she electrocutes him near the end. When the Dynamo Cage overloads and she faints, we see one panel with Sonic's face completely frozen, before the next panel has him gasping. The theory we have is that Surge actually disrupted Sonic's heart rhythm there, causing a brief heart attack that ended up resolving itself (similarly to how an electric shock is sometimes used to restart the heart by doctors, since the shock actually resets the rhythm by briefly stopping the heart and letting it start beating again on its own). Of course this is just a theory and there's not a lot of evidence for it, but there ya go

The ring thing isn't necessarily canon since it's mostly a pure game mechanic, but Sonic DOES HAVE arguably more knowledge about Chaos Power than Knuckles or Shadow, at least more experience using it, he has been using them since Sonic 2, was the first one to have a super form unleashing their full power, not to mention the Super Emeralds and Hyper Sonic and so on

That’s quite wrong. Light Mobius is confirmed to be an alternate timeline of the Prime Universe. It of course doesn’t work with the Prime Universe, as….you know…the reboot….which killed off the Echidna characters before the Super Genesis Wave was launched, and those characters all exist in Light Mobius But you should’ve kept talking about Light Mobius, as Sonic is thought to have been dead after jumping into a blackhole and altering the space-time continuum
