Thank you for this great video! “Today I escaped from anxiety, or no, I discarded it, because it was within me, in my own perceptions - not outside.” - Marcus Aurelius

Ive read "how to think like a Roman emperor" no less than 3 times now. It's the book that solidified Marcus Aurelius as my Cato. Thank you Ryan AND Donald for introducing me to the philosophy thats helping me get through this terrible time in my life. The world is a better place with your books in it.

"I will show you that I am a daughter of Marcus Aurelius" is a hell of a line to say when being put to death. Wish we knew more about her too.

Great video! Here’s a summary of the key points: One: Introduction to Marcus Aurelius and his challenges. Two: How the Meditations were written and their purpose. Three: Specific Stoic techniques he used to manage anxiety. Four: The impact of his philosophy on his leadership. Five: Modern applications of his Stoic practices. Thanks for breaking it down so clearly!

As a fellow Stoic, I found this video incredibly enlightening. Marcus Aurelius exemplifies the Stoic ideal of maintaining tranquility amidst chaos. His approach to anxiety through rational thinking and emotional regulation is a testament to the enduring power of Stoic philosophy. We can all learn from his example to better handle our own struggles.

Another take on stress It’s normal to feel pain in your hands and feet if you’re using your feet as feet and your hands as hands. And for humans being to feel stress is normal, if he’s living a normal human life. And if it’s normal how can it be bad?

What happened to innocent until proven guilty with Andrew Tate? @Daily Stoic Throwing an emotional unfounded accusation out like that was not very stoic at all it made you seem like you might genuinely be an undercover psychopath

My concern was with Tate's own words in statements made by him on social media, in his online courses, and in the communications contained in the court documents related to his case, not the outcome of his criminal trial.

Ryan pretends to have the intellect of someone like Robertson by repackaging Stoic philosophy. His ego contradicts everything he parrots. Ryan Boomerang Holiday, always bringing the convo back to him. 🦜🪃
