I think Zeus in Thor4 maybe used to show how menacing Gorr is & that’s all. Or just lite humour. The only thing is in Ragno-wrong I mean Rock(it was a funny movie but it mixed to many stories together & badly)they killed off the warriors three but not Lady Sif. So killing off Zeus to show the power of Gorr makes sense & then bring in Hercules in later in the movie or in another movie or show

Zeus & Thor are actually related in the comics. The Earth Mother Gaea was Zeus' grandmother, & under the name Jord she was also Thor's birth mom.

From what I've read, the DC comics' Zeus is pretty close to the OG Greek god Zeus with the slight difference being that he knows Wonder Woman and possibly has also interacted with other characters in the Comics. But overall he is pretty much the run of the mill Greek God Zeus.

Gods in Marvel are universal. Any universe have that universe own set of sky fathers, a full set of infinity stones, and a Galactus that belong to that particular universe. The same thing cant happen with DC’s Gods. Because they are multi-universal being, they exist out side of the multiverse, out of time and space. There will alway be one Zeus for the entire DC’s canon, no matter the universe, no matter the timeline(they have true form) DC’s God and Marvel’s Gods are not at the same league

Zeus was raised by his grandmother Gaea and several nymphs on the island of Crete until adulthood when he was strong enough to take on his father Cronus...Thor was born in a cave in Norway several thousand years later by Gaea(Jord) with these same Nymphs helping her conceive him Thor is actually Zeus 's UNCLE

in DC, Zeus is the father of Wonder Woman (Diana), Wonder Girl (Cassie Sandmark), and has a lot more demigod kids scattered throughout the world, he is the leader of the Olympians and sometimes offers assistance to his superhero demigod children in MCU, Zeus is the leader of the Olympians, father of Hercules and a few other demigods scattered throughout the world, he is stuck in a seemingly bitter rivalry with Odin, Hercules, on the other hand, became an ally to the Avengers, though sometimes he is the one that brought trouble to their doorstep

This is thor and the taser all over. He is the god of thunder and lightning. Why does the lightning hurt him? Why cant he absorbe or control it? Why cant mjolnir conduct it? I NEED ANSWERS

I'm not going to speak for the MCU, but in the comics it wouldn't be just lightning Zeus would be hitting him with. It would be Zeus' own thunderbolts. Magic. They would at least be able to sting. Let me make a comparison: It's like how Superman is fireproof (invulnerable) and normal fire wouldn't do a thing, but if the fire is made of magic which has basically been commanded(by magic to defy reality) to burn flesh, it would hurt Superman. He's a god of lightning but it'd be difficult absorbing a skyfather's magic. After all, Zeus is a god of lightning as well. That's actually one of the things Mjolnir does for Thor. It's capable of absorbing all forms of energy and redirecting it. But since Zeus is one, simply that powerful and two, capable of overwhelming Mjolnir, it makes sense that he couldn't do that with Zeus.
