I had the most unromantic proposal because I killed the romance 😂. My husband had wine, chocolate, flowers and food and s letter to propose and when I arrived at his house I saw all the beautiful setup. Read the letter and then he asked me. And I was like, ¿Do you know what this mean? We had a very long talk about expectations, rules, values, the things we liked and disliked and many more things. Then, by the end I asked him: do you still want to marry me? And he was like, now I want it even more ❤

That to me sounds very romantic! Now a days everyone is so focused on the movie magic romance that they forget just how romantic real life honest conversations with the one you love can be!! My husband and I have had several conversations like this over the last four years of our relationship almost 3 of them we have been married.

My dad forget the ring in the car apparently when he took my mom out to dinner to propose. He at first thought he like lost it lost it, like he dropped it somewhere and mom said she just thought dad was possessed and was going nuts because he was hyperventilating which he never does, he was like walking around everywhere and checked his pockets and shaking his jacket. Then he just gave up. They went back to the car where mom found the ring in the car and held it and put it on and said apparently “This what you were looking for? My answer is yes.” And then I was born and then my sister and brother. 30 years later I still giggle listening to their proposal story.
