This all hit me, and so suddenly, and my doctors didn't connect it whatsoever with hormones. I really can't believe that this isn't more widely known, so thank you so much for making these videos! They tried to diagnose about 50 unconnected "syndromes" in my case, and thankfully I just figured it out on my own.

I have noticed, floaters, blurred vision, and need for readers, my smell is not as heightened as pregnancy, but it’s better than it was, and a lot of smells turn me off. My hearing has gotten way better and most things drive me crazy, I prefer being in silence. Even my daughter seems like she’s yelling all the time. I always have to tell her to talk quietly. My skins crawls at times, and I avoid certain materials now. I haven’t really noticed anything regarding my taste and pray I don’t start hating things I once loved.

I am going through everything you have spoken about in this video. So what I have done is to warm compression on the eye twice a day and I have been using eye drops. Preservative free daily. Thanks for the good work you'are doing

i hate to jump in here, but another user that started menopause said she realized her world was beginning to get small and she couldnt do much because of sensory overload. She says she started Celexa a SSRI and it was a game changer. Also i just had an eye check and the optometrist who is a top doctor said my eyes are perfect for someone my age. I knew it was something else!

Hi Sarah The topics I talk about every week come from real menopausal women asking about these symptoms who want to know how to help themselves. Many do find my tips and advice helpful so, sorry to hear that you think it's all negative. I have posted a video blog on how long this may last (although it is different for every woman) so you are welcome to take a look. www.avogel.co.uk/health/menopause/videos/how-long-menopause-lasts-and-what-happens-afterwards/ Best Wishes Eileen

It's hard for me to drink water in the morning but I have been doing a lot better, I literally use a measuring cup and fill it with my water and and drink two of them. I'm stubborn I guess. But my good side does win in somethings.

I add a dash of lemon juice to my morning water…even a squeeze of Jif lemon works .
@pattycake82722 жыл бұрын
@@jacquelinearcher1158 okay. I do get a lemon once in a while because it brightens my day to see them, maybe I could actually try using them. Lol.

Yes, it can be hard drinking water first thing, I know I would far rather have a cup of tea but I do feel the difference if I miss my first water! Best Wishes Eileen
