Big Boss, who as the series progresses, manages to grow and grow in his monstrosity, has the game depicting the origin of the start to his downfall show him, finding comfort in cardboard boxes, geeking out over firearms, putting on funny camo and acting awkward and blunt in front of a baddie is such a gripping portrayal of how war changes people into the worst versions of themselves.

Nice coincidence: If you knock The Boss off her feet at the start of the fight and crawl ,you can find 3 white snakes in the flowers. To make this easier equip the motion detector to find each. One is named Liquid,another Solidus,and finally Solid. When you find that final snake The Boss should say it’s been 5 minutes and Snake eater begins!

The most tragic thing about the boss is that even in dead she is still being used by other people just this time is by twisting her last words to justify their actions . Also she tried to left her will to the most unfit man . The difference between John and David it’s that , John doesn’t have hobbies, his quirks can be endearing but you can see that Big Boss Can’t operate outside of war . The guy can honestly be only happy in the battlefield .

The funniest part about the jungles is that not only is the location called Siberia in the game, which is a mix of piked forest, tundra and polar climate, but the game geographically set in Uzbekistan roughly, which has a climate and terrain similar to Afganistan. So MGS3 should look more like MGSV. The cherry on top is that Russia alone and especially Soviet Union overall has pretty much every climate and terrain EXCEPT tropics.
@cybersilver5816Ай бұрын
The location is not called Siberia, you just fly over Siberia while flying in low orbit. (In a blackbird pulling afterburner, with a drone that flew under its own power for an unspecified amount of time. The point is, Snake went very far, very fast) During the halo jump for the Virtuous Mission, the pilot informs the crew that they were over Pakistan, 20 minutes from the dropsite. Due to some geographical implications in dialogue, the region of Tselinoyarsk (which is what they call the area in game) might actually be located in Tajikistan, which was close to Pakistan, India, and Afghanistan.

The thing with this series is that it gave me different forms if an existential crisis. The first game gave me the crisis of my genes. Who am I tied to, what am I tied to? The second game (Which was the game that introduced me to the series and I first played it at the age of 8) gave me the crisis of the future. I was completely new to the whole "Digital Age", so it made me concerned with what would happen later on in life (which, funnily enough, is going on right now). Then came this game, Snake Eater. This made me question who is friend and who is foe. Who is truly on me side, and who is just using me as a means to an end. Kojima really is a legend in the industry, and I wish he was able to fulfil his dreams of making movies like this series.

Also, don’t stick around in the long corridors for too long because if he spots you or retaliates you while you’re in the middle of one, you’re basically trapped.
