This is in reference to “THIS” particular video: I truly believe Mike Todd teaches many things that go contrary to the scriptures! Yet, when defining something to be evil, sinful, ungodly, or corrupt - we must define it based off of God's standards/laws and not ours. Question: Exactly what part of his actions (theatrics) violate one of God's commandments? Now when you respond be sure to use the scripture reference in its proper context. Now, "I" would not use his theatrics, but the question is what exact part of his theatrics, that we saw in video, are sinful - what commandment did he break/transgress? His theatrics (itself) that were seen in the video were neither holy or unholy - from a biblical perspective. Now, some of his motives could have been evil, but we (humans) could not observe his exact motive. Could his motives have been bad or good - Yes, but that can only be judged by the Holy Spirit. We as Christians should judge things in a righteous way (John 7:24), but somethings we are just simply not able to judge at the time because it is not clearly seen as sinful or righteous from a biblical perspective. We have also been commanded not to judge nothing before its time (1 Corinthians 4:5). Jesus cautioned us to not pronounce judgments on others in this sense, because we do not have all the evidence in front of us, so our judgment is likely to be skewed. We cannot see the motives of the heart, for example. (Yes, we must judge - behaviors and actions only, not thoughts, hearts, or motives). So, if we are going to judge the actions that we saw in the video - we have to prove the actions to biblically sinful in order to call it sinful or evil. Now let me be very very very clear - I definitely would not sit up under Mike Todd's pastorialship. I do think that he tries to appeal to people’s emotions, more than truly studying the Word of Life so that he would be more effective in feeding the people that listen to him. I think he does not want the "smoke" of teaching many sound biblical doctrines that would have him less famous than what he is now. I know that I do not like many of his theatrics - but no matter what I “think” - I cannot teach others that Mike Todd did something wrong - by using the theatrics that he used in this particular video. Now Corey did state some things that he “thinks” but he also made some declarations about things that He has no rightful grounds for doing so! Now: Corey is a real brother, and I love him, Corey is a sound teacher - but he is certainly saying somethings based off His emotions and not “known” facts. Corey stated that Mike Todd is teaching or entertaining a crowd/assembly of “goats”. Yes, we know that only a few will find the “narrow” way (Matthew 7). Yet, the probability of Corey’s statement being a “LIE” is something that should be considered. More than likely, there is at least “one” person that was sitting in that congregation, listening to that particular sermon, that is actually one of God’s sheep. If that is the case, then Corey is told a “LIE”! Corey said that “sheep” desire sheep’s food. That is true. Yet, “sheep” (myself to be exact) have eaten food (false teaching, unwise teachings, worldly based traditional teachings) for periods of time, that we not helpful to me - but that did not mean that I was not a “sheep”, it did not mean that I was A “GOAT”. Every sheep’s timing of moving away from less effective, emotional driven teachings, or even clear sinful teachings are determined by GOD HIMSELF, not (Corey, myself, or you)! We really have to be sure that when we Judge, we judge the “RIGHT” way! I am even guilty, at times, of judging a person or a situation based on emotions - then afterwards finding “someway” of tying it into the scriptures - when it is really not there. What is my point: We cannot be so emotionally lead, that end up declaring something is sinful - “if God’s word (used in its proper context and meaning) does not declare it to be sinful”. We sure cannot determine if someone is saved - based off of how they look! Even if a person is dressing lewd (non chaste), although that is wrong (1 Tim. 2:9) - that still won’t determine if they are saved or not. In Closing: I (in my lifetime) would probably not use the theatrics that he uses, but I have used some examples along the way, that “others” may say are theatrics that they despise. I saw Corey use a theatric, in one of his sermons that he preached at a church. It may not have been as massive as Mike Todd’s, but yet it was still a theatrics (acting example) that he used to get a point of understanding across. Now: some people may have looked at what Corey did and say that Corey should not be wasting people’s time, but he Corey should have just preached the scripture. Yet, Corey was preaching the scripture, he just seen fit to take some time, to use a small/short skit to help make his point. Yes, there is some worldliness about Mike Todd, no doubt! But the point is: do not call people goats (as Corey called those in the audience) when you have no earthly or heavenly idea if that is a fact. There were people that thought I was a “GOAT” when I use to sit up under false teachings, but “thanks’ be to God who brought me out - “IN HIS PERFECT TIMING”. We must expose evil, corruption, and sin - that is our job. Nevertheless, while seeking to do that very thing - be sure that use judge righteously, soberly, and accurately - and not emotionally! I really don’t like Mike Todd’s skits and theatrics - but if they do not transgress God’s laws - I want call them evil or sinful and will not call the all the people who are being entertained by his skits “GOATS”. 1 Corinthians 4:5 says - So don’t make judgments about anyone ahead of time-before the Lord returns. For he will bring our darkest secrets to light and will reveal our private motives. Then God will give to each one whatever praise is due. I am not against Corey - I am subscribed, but just like all of us - Corey says some “wrong” things along the way - and Corey speaks according to His emotions sometimes along the way. I have been guilty of it several times! I am not saying that Mike Todd is “saved” or “unsaved”. If it was left up to my thoughts - I would say that he is “unsaved” - but I cannot make that call here. For those who are under Mike Todd - please do desire the sincere milk of the Word that you may grow there by. If you want more growth, then you would need to seek a teacher that is going to be more focused on biblical studies. Agape to all.

@@thlipsislamont1352 Based on this video, you wouldn’t sit under Mike Todd’s headship. Aren’t you also judging Todd without knowing everything? Isn’t that your criticism of this video? The Bible says in 2 Timothy 4:3-4 (NKJV) 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; 4 and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables. This is precisely what’s happening in Mike Todd’s church. I think Corey has every right to judge Todd’s church, more especially seeing he’s not even using the Word to preach.
@thlipsislamont13527 ай бұрын
@@annonymous3632 @annonymous3632 No I am not judging him. And then again, in some ways, yes I am judging him. If you look up the biblical word for judgment then you will see what the biblical word for judgment means, when you look it up in The classical languages that the Bible were written in. The biblical word judgment has several different meanings, and the context would determine what meaning is to be used. The word judgment can mean condemnation, to punish, to damn, to call into question, to esteem, and to decide what's right or what's wrong. And there are other meanings to the word judge. So the context is going to tell us which meaning to apply to that specific texts of scripture. Now it's clear that you didn't understand some of what I wrote. I would not say you did not understand all of what I wrote, but it's clear you did not understand some of my statements. I did make some judgments in there, but the judgment that I made was based on fact. For example, there's no way in the world that Corey could know whether or not every last person in there is a goat. So I judge Corey righteously. I said that he was wrong for making that statement. That was the proper judgment. The idea that I also brought out is that we are to make judgment, I clearly said we are to make judgment, but we cannot make judgments based off things that we don't have proper evidence for. Corey does not have proper evidence that everybody in there is a goat. Also I judge Corey by him saying that Mike Todd committed a sinful action by using the theatrics that he used. Then I made a statement that was not a judgment about Mike todd. I said that I think he should not use those theatrics, but they are only my thoughts, but the theatrics he used was not a violation of any commandment found within the word of god.even Corey makes jokes sometime when he's teaching, should I say that he should not make jokes. The theatrics I have seen him use while he's trying to make a point about a spiritual matter, should I say he's wrong for that, the answer is no. As long as Corey is not violating any commandments found in the scripture, even though I may not like Corey's theatrics, I cannot say that Corey committed a sinful corrupt action. So yes I made some judgments in there. But the judgments that I made were based on fact. Corey, myself, you, and many of us are going to be guilty of making judgments based off emotions at some point in our life. We just have to admit it and correct yourself, and move forward to better. Thank you for using 2nd Timothy chapter 4 verse 3 through 4 because that verse is very very true. Yes there are people that heat to themselves teachers because they have itching ears, it is true that many people would not endure sound doctrine and do not endure sound doctrine, that is very very very very very true. But what does it have to do with the following: It is very possible that many of them only follow my Todd because they don't want to hear more convicted biblical teachings. Nobody's denying that. But that very well may be some people in there that don't mind hearing very hard preaching that will convince them and expose them. Would you be as bold to say that there's nobody in there that would be willing to hear some rebuking very firm darkness exposing teachings? And would you be as bold as to say with Corey said that the only people listening to my Todd in that assembly or goats? Corey is speaking out of presumption and emotion. Yes that is a judgment that I'm placing on Corey, because there's no way that he can know whether or not every person in that assembly is a goat or a sheep. So you never heard me say don't judge, we are supposed to judge. But we are supposed to judge according to the evidence and facts. It is a fact that Mike Todd has said some things erroneously, we have all heard it before. it is a fact that Corey has said some erroneous things in his teaching, we have heard it before. It is a fact that I have said some erroneous things in my teaching, it is a fact. It is a fact that my Todd tends to love SOME of the lavish materialistic things of this world. Everything that I just said in those above three or four sentences, or judgements, but they are righteous judgments because they are based off evidence and facts. I just had a person judge me the other day because of something they'd seen me do. And guess what they were right to judge me because they seem to evidence of what I did, so they performed righteous judgement. So just because my Todd does see some false things, just because he uses theatrics doesn't mean that everybody that sits in that assembly is a goat. And the particular theatrics that Mike Todd used has not contradicted any biblical commandment in the Bible. With that being said, let me be very wise to say, that I don't like Mike Todd theatrics, but just because he uses them does not mean he has committed a transgression against any law in the holy word of god. Sometimes Mike Todd does not use the word of God to teach something, sometimes he does. Sometimes he misunderstands and perverts some of the meanings, I have heard it with my own ears. But Corey only has the right to judge my Todd or any individual within that assembly based off what is factual. What he does not have fact about he cannot make a final judgment about. So I see you standing up for Corey where he is right, but now I need to see you actually stand up against Corey where he is wrong, because all of us should stand for God first. I love corey, but he was simply wrong in some of his thinking and some of the things that he said. Now if you are a believer of god, you can bear witness of what I just said, when I said some of the things he said is right and some of the things he said is wrong. That's walking with an honest heart and not having a respectful person. I want to say thank you very much for your reply and I pray that God bless you throughout this day. Please pray for me as I pray for you. God bless!

The only time I see Mike Todd and other entertainers like him, is when true Christians warn us about their antics. Thank you for continually warning the body. God bless!

We all need to still support and pray for one another. Yes this stuff is out there. He wanted to jump on a trampoline. Yeah that is weird. He needs prayer like all of us do. I don’t think we should bash like this. We should pray for him to get it.

Once I saw them twerking in church on Easter Sunday it was over. Can't make this up! But "Relationship Goals" is one of the best sermons to listen to without the extra nonsense. Here I don't see no Bible being read, studied, or analyzed. Just a show and a "FEEL GOOD" Message. These pastors don't wanna preach about the things that will point out your sin because of not trying to offend anyone and fit in with the world.

A recent Mike Todd message actually inspired and convicted me to be more healthy physically and spiritually. I understand he’s not for everyone, but he’s still being used by God for good.

There are many health motivators outside the church. Twisting God's Word, denying Him His glory to motivate a crowd into living healthy is showing no fear of the Lord or His Holy Word Yes everything & everyone is used by God for His purpose e.g...Even the Assyrians, Babylonians were used as a tool of punishment to the children of Israel.. Please Pause and consider.. 1 Peter 4:17 For it is time for judgment to begin with the household of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of God? 2 Timothy 2:11-12 For this reason God will send them a powerful delusion so that they believe the lie, in order that judgment may come upon all who have disbelieved the truth and delighted in wickedness. Please pray and ask The Lord Jesus Christ for help.. to reveal the truth to your heart and help you see&accept it. MTodd's teaching you divert your heart from depending on the Lord Jesus Christ and to your self effort.. Denying the self and throwing yourself on The Lord Jesus Christ Unless one is a disciple of the preacher and not of Christ We are sanctified by Word of God through the blood of the Lamb..But if The Word is not taught...then one is lost John 17:17 Sanctify them in the truth; Your word is truth. Math 10:28 And do not be afraid of those who kill the body but are unable to kill the soul; but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Please read the Word of God, read through the gospel slowly. Ask The Lord Jesus Christ to give you the desire, understanding&revelation in The Word. God bless you❤

Remember God can still use anyone to his advantage for good which is true...even tho his words helped you it still doesn't mean he is a man of God.

Mike Todd is awesome people need to hear the message stop judging what's wrong with a little fun. Even Jesus had humor. I love him and his message he's very encouraging. He helped me find myself when I was out of it, and I love the word "Love God" and know God for my self. IT'S ALL ABOUT THE MESSAGE, eat the meat, and spit out the bones.

Sir,I did not expect you get the flamethrower and ether this man's whole existence 😂😂😂. You calmly just methodically exposed everything about that church. Also my opinion of mike Todd is just he's just extra for no reason. I don't see him as an egomaniac but I don't get why the extra theatrics. It's dangerous teaching. And for a pastor who seemingly doesn't know the word of God, I'm like bruh go actually study. I'm not gon disrespect the man but someone needs to tell him that he's playing with his and other folks eternity.
