I EDC a TOPS Mini Extractor in scout position. Not too big, not too small, it's just a perfect, bulletproof blade for EDC.

A friend of mine worked for Tops and got me a tour. Everything in this video is true. The staff were all super cool and it was a great experience. Tops are the only knives I buy now. I have a few and my wife uses their kitchen knives. Never had an issue with any of them.

I’m 60 years old. I’ve served 20 years in the military and 15 as a DOD contractor. I’ve had many knives throughout my years of service. To this date, TOPS knives are the best that I’ve found. My favorites are Tex Creek 69, Fieldcraft by BOB (have 3 of them), street scalpel 2.0, szabo express, and the wild pig hunter.

I'm from the UK and Tops are the best at what they do especially with their heat treatment on the steel they use🥰 nobody else can do the same with that steel. In my book they are one of the best knife manufacturers in the world.

I can see that all the processes that need to be done to maintain the quality of the knives you produce are done, but your factory is very disorganized and complicated. As German Bosch factories and Japanese Toyota factories do, you need to organize the material flow in your processes and eliminate the irregularity in your factory by doing 5S Visual Factory projects, which are one of the tools of Lean Production. In this way, you can eliminate waste and labor inefficiency in your factory. You can provide a perfect visual production feast for the person who visits your factory for the first time.

And before someone tells me it's a union flag. its only a union jack when it's on a ship. Thank you for that. I didn't know that, 😊 but I will ALWAYS call it the union jack.

Have their 107C Steel Eagle, Stryker, one of their first folders, the CSR folder buck, and.several Slysteel desgned, made by Tops, Skeletal, Spectre Combar Survival, and the Cuma kukri. Along with Benchmade and Hogue Tops knives are then ones i trust when things go bad. I lice 2.1/2 hours from their factory. I wish they have a factory store like Benchmade as no dealer will carry every model. Been to abenchmade sevwal times at tbeir factory and store. Can buy any of tbeir current models and hzce my Benchmades sharpened in 10 minutes.

Some of them get nervous being on camera. 🤔🤔 One answer for that is ignorance, bigotry, and hate.

I am 99% sure that there's a few workers there that just might show how they feel about workers from across the southern border. Or being recognized by the authorities for lack of a green card. I wouldn't bet the house, but I'd sure drop a c-note on the counter.

Tops knives always seem to be just gimmicky enough to leave something to be desired. Like the ferro notch instead a 9O degree spine for example. I know the “differential heat treat” and all that. IMO it just sounds cool. The only knife I’ve ever bent permanently was the BOB, thanks to their heat treat. If you snap a 3/16” knife, you’re obviously using it for unintended purposes. That extra step for the notch and the extra time it takes to treat only part of the blade drive up cost due to time. It’s 1095 with micarta. That’s it. Feels like they take unnecessary extra steps because they think they know more. More steps = more money. Edit: remember this guy is a corporate salesman for battlebox. He might not even like TOPS, but they’ll pay him to tour their facility and make a video for content ($) to up their sales ($). All about marketing and money now, not actually the knife

Tops is cool but ima Tkell knife guy much better looking & functioning fixers. Only down side is the long wait
@polishsharpshooter28767 күн бұрын
So he says about the band saw they don’t make them like that anymore. That’s true. But he’s manufacturing knives with cheap materials and cutting corners to make his products cheaper. Plastic sheaths, plastic handles, metal is cut from sheets instead of forged, laser engraved instead of hand engraved. There is no soul in the product. The old band saw has soul

No doubt, being military and law enforcement knives makes them extra special. Why not refer to them as hero knives.
