This video speaks volumes. MIT OpenCourseWare has indeed made my university education so much brighter from Professor John Gruber to Professor Andrew Lo who have set the bar so damn high as to what a Professor is. Thanks MIT, not a student but always appreciating the content.

Very inspiring! What you guys are doing maybe does not seem like a big deal but you guys are one of the role models in education and making your sources open source creates the possibility that everyone can learn. That should be the goal of any of us, our age, gender or race does not mean we can’t learn or we can’t share. We are humans and to be able to show efficient progress or maybe go beyond our planet will be done by this kind of act. Again thanks for your effort in all of this, really appreciated.

Beautiful where passion gets a person no matter their skill set or iq level…if your passionate and motivated you will not only succeed because you become obsessed with your craft especially if your being paid a good amount for it. Shss passionate, wonderful to see.

Fantastic. I have a degree in chemistry. Later in career as a chemist, I decided to teach high school. My first school assigned both chemistry and physics to me. Through MIT OpenCourseWare, I found Dr. Walter Lewin and basically listened to all his lecture and watched his demos and labs. Because of that, I was totally prepared to teach physics and even incorporated one of his labs in my classes. Best to you.

Yes, the course with video lectures and hand outs are free. There would be a cost for course textbooks if you want to follow along on the readings but sometimes they can be found at the local library

@@pierrecatpacbell if I know correctly there are only a handful of courses per department available right?
@pierrecatpacbell
@pierrecatpacbell 2 жыл бұрын
@@HarshvardhanKanthode I'm not sure, they have a wide range of course selections. Best thing to do is search on topics you are interested in learning and see what comes up. Also check out Harvard and other schools. They offer similar programs of free courses
