You're the only reactor who really analyzed Mori from her early days until at present. Clearly, greatness is earned and requires hard work. Thanks!

Very cool. Haven’t seen anyone go back to the beginning and see what they were like beforehand. Kudos.

Morissette's is my favorite voice in the world and I'm not really a music person. I was surprised to learn she didn't win the music contest she joined so I went back to watch her in it. When I watched it (and her other earlier videos) I was amazed at how much she improved. I didn't like her earlier performances at all. Kudos to whoever trained her and to her for sticking with it and training that voice.

Seeing her diction years ago compared to now is so interesting. I wonder if she started in musical theatre (after all, she did choose Defying Gravity from Wicked..) because that's where I got my start and just these past couple years my style has become more natural instead of so harsh. Overall though I feel like the biggest difference I notice is the ease in her voice now. You see and hear the struggle in a few of the notes here, and also on her face. Now I find that when she sings, she floats.

Pretty impressive. Thanks coach. I always wanted to learn sing and play instruments. Never got beyond horrible at both. 😆😆😆 It didn't stopped me from torturing my friends and relatives by singing to my heart's content as often as i could. 😂😂😂 Morissette, as you made me realize more, is really awesome. Again..thanks!

You can learn how to sing sounding out full vowels, going all-out without hurting yourself, but what about in the case of R & B ? I've heard that vowels are modified in R & B (always?) and how about going out full voice without sounding 'shouty'?

Tnx Carl for that detailed analyses of Mori's audition years back. Many KZbinrs are learning from you and that includes me as well. BTW, I really admire you for taking time analyzing Pilipino Artists. Are they really good as far as your reactions to them for quite sometime now? What is your scale, 1 to 10 ? Kudos Carl.

She did do theater when she was young. I don't know her age here, but it may be after her theater experience. Most Filipinos do not have any formal training. They are self taught, at least until they can afford formal training. But they would usually be fairly successful by then.

Can you please react to One Last Cry - Rhap Salazar . God bless u coach
Over time, possible vocal cord damage and premature decline as a singer. In more immediate terms, it creates rather one-dimensional singing because you end up getting "trapped" in your chest voice instead of mixing or switching to head voice.

Just to tell you, Morisette did not became popular because of that show. She joined The Voice Ph and has been coached with the Philippine pop princess Sarah G., since she have shown undeniable talent she was offered shows and regular performances in ASAP.
