Hey I did a similar thing recently. Move from the rat race of Sydney Australia, to a region north of Brisbane Australia. Half the population, 1/3 of the traffic and the relaxed lifestyle. Was able to do same role with company was a benefit. When I need to go to office I drive over a bridge to suburb on way home and feels 1000 miles away. Best part is I drive along the water each day to get serenity. Best move ever made. Changed my life.

Glad you enjoyed it! In most of this video I am overlooking Saratoga lake, even in the thumbnail. The part where I am sitting by water is the spring run trail(Saratoga springs) which is right near loughberry lake.

Frankie, may I ask did you and your wife sell your "stuff" and move, or did you store it with family, what did you take with you when you moved away? I'm getting ready to move again and kinda want to sell or give away everything and just start over from scratch as I really don't need much anymore.

We sold , donated , or threw away about 90% of our belongings. Only things we took were our clothes, the king bed, and some dish-ware. Starting over with furniture and decor was so much easier. We wanted new and our style had changed quite a bit. Best of luck with your move !
