I'd suggest putting a post up on local social media pages when you fill up the stand so it reminds people that the flowers are there.

Kim, I really enjoy your videos. You are easy to listen to and make interesting content. Besides my raised beds garden, I grow some Lemon Queen sunflowers. They are just a fun flower. At 80 years old, gardening keeps me busy. Continue your videos-and God bless you and your family.

I agree with you about saving hybrid seeds. I saved some hybrid jalapeno seed two years ago and they ended up producing the best tasting, fastest ripening small bell peppers I've ever seen! At first I thought I mixed up my seed but after growing the seed this year from a second container I got the same amazing peppers. Now I keep ALL my seeds just for the fun mystery of it

Oh my gosh I can't believe the frosted explosion grass (although I call it witchgrass) my mom doesn't mow her lawn and this year we had a millet and a witch grass come up just one each and I've been saving the seeds because I thought they look so cool and would be great in bouquets. I also love that those plants are super co2 removers. Can't believe I just learned about them this year by happenstance and then also stumbled on this video of you actually using it!

I’ve been gardening since I was around 8 with my grandfather. I’m 29 now and my fiance is 26. You two have extremely similar hair, and ive been slowly getting her into gardening and the joys of it over the past couple of years. Recently was looking for tips on zinnias and different cut flowers as I’ve been getting into growing them for enjoyment and I’ve found your videos. I was showing her the last video I was watching of your stuff and she gained extreme interest due to the hair similarities. She loves your hair and has been watching every video you have over the past few days. She also just went through my seed collection and started ordering everything she wants to plant for next spring, asked me to prep another area for her to get everything she wants in. So thank you!😂 this is what I was hoping for, I think the factor that pushed her the most was your videos and similarities with the hair lol.

Just found your channel and have subscribed. I also bought Sunflower Steve's seeds. How do you keep the bird's from eating your sunflower seeds? Would you do a small video on how you save the sunflower seeds, if and when to cover so birds won't get the seed and how to know when they are ready to harvest for seed? Thank you.

I saw a video where the farmer used ducks to get the weeds. They don’t eat the plant. Too bad u can’t do that with chickens to eat the bugs. I’ve seen chicken tunnels but that isn’t doable for a big farm. Your bouquets are so pretty. U have a great helper.

We are twins on the crowd comments. I am not a fan of interacting with large amounts of humans at once like selling vegetables at a market. Not my cup of tea. Like you I would get the stuff ready and load it up and clean up after but interacting with the folks is not much fun for me. Lastly my sunflowers grew t o14 feet tall this year. Awesomesauce all self seeded from the previous year.

@@hughjass1835 You know Hugeass your right safety while picking flowers is of the utmost concern but why stop there why not wear all of the ppe : a sombrero, long sleve shirt, long pants, gloves and steel toed boots. Lord knows picking flowers in the daylight is as dangerous as walking across your living room. You should probably alert all of the other KZbin farmers as well because none of them are wearing any ppe. Thank you for your concern for the safety of farmers across America.
