Ita a reasonable side hustle with no commitments . You can stop for some time and pick it up again at a time you feel you would like to.. The platform is fairly easy to understand. good info.

When you're in the inner city, you can get some good orders.....but that's is far from being the whole truth. SO many inner city orders make you have to climb high into condo towers...which uses up a hell of a lot of time. In the end, if you're lucky, you bring in $20 per hr...before gas...and it puts a hell of a lot of mileage on your car. The additional mileage will also likely put you into another car insurance category....aside from the huge risk of accidents from driving so much, as well as the huge risk of getting tickets from the police, which will also boost your insurance significantly. I make $20 per hour....but that means speeding constantly and being incredibly aggressive with driving, to get to locations fast. When it comes down to it, Uber just takes advantage of many people who are desperate to make a few dollars. I'm lucky to have the possibilities of much better work outside of Uber, but so many don't have that possibility.

Thanks for info, well done! I would say at least in Wpg the fuel is about 20% of what you earn. So a $100.00 day will have 20.00 in fuel costs...and earning 20.00 per hour will cost about 4.00 in gas in Wpg.
@Symbu2 жыл бұрын
Hi Rol, after driving Ubereats in Toronto since 2014, I can tell you the fuel cost is not 4.00/hour. If you earn $100 which will take about 5 hours, you will typically use about $10 in gas, if you are using a reasonable car for the job. If you are using a large V8 SUV, you might use $20, but most Uber drivers like myself have 4 cylinder cars, such as my Camry.
@joeidaho59382 жыл бұрын
Yup...so that means it's actually $16 per hour...and that does not include any maintenance, insurance...or traffic tickets....or the increased insurance many will face because of so much mileage per year. And no...it is not relaxing, if you really want to make money....lol....as the guy says in the video.

Also don't forget income tax at the end of the year, It would pretty much bring you down to minimum wage if not less :((( Also if your car consumes a lot of fuel will be at a greater loss.

You can expense most of your costs and the depreciation of the vehicle, which, for the most part, negated the taxes owed.

@@jasimsalahudin637 Ya...it fluctuates both up and down....and more likely down, if you are not collecting trip quest bonusses. Trip quest bonusses are the only thing that gets uber sort of above minimum wage. It's a hackjob company, when it comes down to it, preying on those who struggle to get better work in this country.

Great Video, i love it. 👍 I have 2 questions, as i will be just starting. If someone meets you outside the door, do you just give them the delivery without taking the picture, or do you take the picture while they are holding their food? Also is it a good idea to knock or ring the door bell before leaving the food delivery in front of the customers door? Just wondering incase a person or baby is sleeping. What do you recommend? Thanks for your help!
@prettyhot1 Жыл бұрын
You can take a picture with a hand it to me if you feel like the person may try to scam you and say they did not receive the order ( I typically don't because I've never had a bad experience) Don't knock or disturb when it say leave at door because it could annoy the customer just take the picture that'll notify them their food has been delivered. Anything else I'll be happy to answer for you
