I friend of mine simply used the fire barrel, if you have one. He'd tie the bundle to an iron bar, set the iron bar across the barrel to hand the copper in the barrel... A few beers later, the copper is glowing red and the plastic casing gone.

Oh, btw, I had a local, large yard quote me $4.60 a lb for bare bright in the last couple of weeks when copper topped $5 on the comex that day.

18:45 - Thought you were going to blow ;ø) Hope you clear up that runny nose - ASMR wire stripping sounds and periodic sniffing is... Is it worth stripping copper wire if it is extremly thin? I have some telephone signalling wire, which would require a micro wire stripper I imagine. Probably not
