Hey, you should Krown oil spray the truck, the result is starting and incent gets into the metal there's no stopping it. I oil spray mine every year...zero rust

You forgot to check out the rear shock mounts.

They just had minor scratches, nothing significant

Hey I know this video isn't about the leveling kit but I have a question were you ever concerned there wasn't enough nut on the threads at the top of the strut tower I also did the 1.5 level an would be devastated if the studs were to strip out off-road I'm sure those dssv shocks are probably $1,100 a piece or more I think you said you sold it but I'm just curious if you had any issues?
@campbelloffroad36602 жыл бұрын
I never had any concerns or issues with the top of the strut

Are those CBI, AEV, or stock skids? Buying a ZR2 soon. Thanks

They are from 589 fabrication, strongest option on the market in my opinion. All 3/16 steel plate design

Time for 37's, I'm to CS to try tall rocks, I'll crawl over stumps but they are softer than my super skidz. I have the same frame hits. Try some Chem Guys Bare Bones undercarriage dressing, helps with rust and clean up with pressure washer gets it pretty clean.

Have you purchased a skid for your gas tank now? That driver side frame scrape is too close for comfort for me.
@campbelloffroad36603 жыл бұрын
No I never got the gas tank skid, AEV says that it is not weight bearing anyways, it’s just to prevents punctures to the tank

Be glad you had that steel driveshaft! Both of those hits on the stock aluminum and it would have been done and over. Your skids are holding up really well. I'm pretty used to seeing skids almost impossible to remove, and even harder to put back on after being warped. Those are surprisingly straight.

I have 285/70 BF Goodrich TAs on my 2017 how are yours holding up?

Love them! They don’t preform like mud tires off-road but they are still decent! These are my second set

Chevy really needed to relocate the diff and rear shocks. Plus the steel driveshaft would’ve really made this a beast
@campbelloffroad36604 жыл бұрын
How exactly would they have relocated the diff?
@freedomrider2664 жыл бұрын
I will agree with you on the shock mounts, but the diff?

Why did you switch back to the aluminum drive shaft?
@campbelloffroad36604 жыл бұрын
Just to clean and paint the steel one

@@campbelloffroad3660 oh that makes sense. Much safer than jacking the rear axle off the ground a couple inches and putting it in drive so the shaft is spinning and spray painting a nice even coat... I like your idea better
