Armour
Clone trooper armor was a set of white plastoid plates worn over a black body glove.
clone armor was resistanit to impacts, pressure, heat and acid vapors
But vurnerable to Lightsbaers and blaster fire
The body glove was from fitting and very tight
included an insulated, and sometimes airtight, underneath the armor plating
body glove protected the clone from the extreme cold and heat - very little protection
Plastoid tubing was often used to reinforce the walls of buildings
Phase I featured a life support system,
a tracking device for monitoring troop movements and a display screen, all built within the helmet
The helmet also contained a comlink, and a comlink antenna was located in the helmet's crest

Clones were very expensive; You have to grow them, then take care of them for 9 years; school them, train them and outfit their kits. With storm troopers you can just recruit/conscript already large population of grown people who have basic schooling and less training time required.

This was a good topic. The Empire was cheap and made the first Death Star out of scrap recycled metals and used slave labor to build it to cut cost. I know in Bad Batch Tarkin references that decommissioning the clone army and recruiting civilian soldiers would cost a fraction for the Empire. This makes me wonder if Kamino had their own currency prior to the clone wars and joining the Republic. Kamino was extremely remote in Wild Space beyond the outerim and right before the Rishi Maze which some sources state that Kamino was actually located outside the Galaxy so it was unlikely the used republic credits prior to trade with nearby systems also considered part of Wild Space. I also wondered about the currency system of Gungan Society before Queen Amidala introduced the Gungans to the galactic society. Since the Gungans did operate in a unified manner under Boss Nass I am sure they also had their own currency before joining the Republic when trading with each other!

Training and R&D for each clone certainly is a lot however I couldn't find any data on it. Maybe in a future video, glad you enjoyed and want more!

When the senator of Kamino propose the Republic purchases an additional 5 million clone troopers, then they would have to pay over 26 billion and that would include the armor and weapons.

Good video man. You did pretty well answering a question many of us have had. Heres some friendly advice I hope you don't take the wrong way that I've used to good effect on another channel of mine and when teaching people things. When you're narrating on a topic or presenting information you should avoid sounding like you're asking a question or guessing. Take as much time as you need to rehearse snd research what you're saying so that when you go to record yourself speaking you can present the information as fact and enunciate everything clearly. You shouldn't sound like you're asking for approval or making a guesstimate mid-take. If it sounds like you lack confidence (whether because you do or you have a speech impediment) it makes your videos less interesting and makes it seem like you don't have much credibility. If need be take a look at how Generation Tech and Geetsly's address their audience. Even if they have to make a guess in something theyre covering they do it with confidence and say something to the effect of "based on the information provided/available to *us* this is the best approximation/educated guess that can be reached". Another key thing is that they make their audience feel welcome. Public speaking, even if only to a mic can be a difficult skill to acquire. Hang in there and keep at it. Practice, practice, and more practice. On a side note the Algorithm recommended your video to me so you potentially might blow up. Goodluck man.
