I am 60 and I went travelling all over Thailand for 6 months when I was in my early 30. It is beautiful now but then it was just unbelievable. I loved Karbi the first time I went there was only little wood huts which I loved because it was right in nature. My hut was £2 a night. When I went back two years later it was packed with loads of concrete hotels. People getting out of the little tail boat with actual suitcases. I think Karbi is heaven on earth and so glad I got to see it when I did.
