Went there 30 years ago. Used to cost 20 baht to get on the island and there was no concrete jungle like now. Definitely gone down since I was there.

Yeah 18 yrs since I been sure looks different it was mainly dirts roads back then and they let you take your scooter on the ferry 2 or 3 guys literally man handled your scooter on to the boat.

Think there is still a farang entry fee used to be free for Thais not sure haven't been back there for over 20 years. But a lovely place to relax for a few days

Went there 23 years ago cost around 50 baht to get there it was unspoilt and very quiet , with no national park fees . To busy and commercialized now .

Little old lady knelt down where we were relaxing on the beach and prepared a meal for the 4 of us. Grilled fish, chicken and papaya salad. KS is lush. Enjoy Darren.

16 beaches to explore we normally walk along the whole coastline down to the thin end of the island the penultimate resort is pretty expensive worth checking out though. Enjoy😊
