Years of experience and # of registries! From what it was explained to me - So for ex: been a tech for 1-2 years, you have 2 registries so tech II.

For your ultrasound program did you use a iPad or laptop? And if an iPad was it easy to do online classes on it?

I used an iPad mainly! It was easy to use and easy to travel with if i needed to bring it to school, study sessions, etc. I recommend purchasing Good Notes as well- it helped me stay organized, create journals for class and take notes faster. Just a preference though🥰

Hey! Just take it as it comes. Yes social life might be on a break for a bit but know your limits and know when you need to take a break from studying! I also recommend reading ahead a little or reviewing items before the next class so the matieral being taught is somewhat familiar and may stick better :)

What 3 registries are there ?

There are more than 3! So after taking your required physics exam, the SPI, you can take a range of registries offered by ARDMS. These include abdomen, vascular, OB/GYN, pediatrics, fetal echo, musculoskeletal, etc!

it depends on where you live and what position you're accepting. i'd say as a new grad per diem (which per diem rates are pretty much 'set' rates), $32-$38! As full time, they truthfully can start in the $20's- $30's!

Thank u! It really depends - At my facility i can average anywhere from 8 patients a day to about 12-15 for me. Sometimes we are super busy and sometimes we are super slow. I think the shift you are working will also play into that, ex: night shift, mid shift, etc. Everywhere is different! ❤
