How Much Does A 50k Tuned BMW cost at 21 years old?! Yearly/Monthly

How much does it cost monthly/yearly to lease/own a 50k tuned bmw? I'll break it down for you while almost accidentally ending up in Mexico and having to talk to border patrol!

Just bought an M240i that since buying, I realized that they have a lot of extra costs than one might realize. I like that you put this up so people can be well informed before purchasing. Over all I must agree, as long as you can afford all the costs associated; then the cost is well worth it.

I've had my 2015 M235i for 15 months and I never get tired of hearing that straight 6 at full blast, the only thing that is a tad annoying is the wing mirror indicator at night too bright and distracting. Apart from that the car is a dream

Hey Ryland, good video. Not sure why you didn't mention all the interior storage around the cockpit such as the 4 compartments in each door, the tiny compartment in front of the shifter, and the compartment between the front seats that has both a USB and an AUX jack. Also a decent size glove box. You must have at least considered adding Dinan Shockware; love to hear your thoughts on that.

I went through all the storage in my in depth review. Anyways the Dinan shockware wasn't out for the M235i when I was looking to buy and I was really wanting coilovers. Sadly I still don't think the shockware is available for this car.

@31 second mark the side shot of the beamer looks awesome, do you find at various angles the car looks average at best?

I think the car looks good from all angles! It definitely looks a lot better freshly washed (not in video)! However some angles are better than others. The back end and the lack of fender flares in the front are the weak points in design.

Ryland Brown i totally agree, i wonder an extra inch for the wheels and having the car lowered a bit might make it look better?

Hey @rylan brown I just test drove a '14 m235i dinan. However. Under hard acceleration from 1 to second and 3rd gear theres a jarring sound during great transitions. During my my test drive the transition from 2nd to 3rd gear would budge. Is that normal?

I have a manual transmission and no I would say that's not normal. Even under hard acceleration I never experience any noises besides the blip of the throttle on shifts. Howver the Manual transmission is pretty notchy and sometimes when you get on it in the lower gears you will miss the throw and it wont go in to gear. Very small error window that you have to get used to.
