If you do your mba from top 15 B schools then your avg salary can be 30-35 that's not a big deal even the minimum salary is 20-25 lpa in these b schools but if you do your mba from top 40/tier 2 B schools then the avg starting salary is 12-20 lpa but you can easily get to 30-35 lpa after 5-6 years of experience & some job switches ...so basically an avg guy who has done his mba from a tier 2 college can earn 25-30 lpa after 6-7 years of experience...

@@pratapmandloi29 do it from the top 40 colleges in India otherwise don't....and to do an mba from the top 40 colleges you need to score above 85 percentile in cat which is not a big deal if you prepare it for a year , you can easily do that... The fact is everybody wants to do their mba from IIMs or FMS or XLRI or other famous colleges but if one can't score a high percentile in cat they can't get these top colleges but does it means that they will not get other good colleges ? Yes they can and also they can get a good paying jobs from these colleges provided they focus on their skills, internships and learning Thankyou

Ironically, although the CA, ACCA, CPA, CMA and CFA have better subject knowledge but MBA’s from top schools employ all of them. However it’s always better to do professional certifications while doing MBA.

If you want to know the salary expectation, here it is: Industry ( QA,QC, Production) : 1.6-2.8 lpa ( CTC ) Marketing and sales: 1.5-3 lpa ( one did get 4.5lpa in our entire batch, it's an exception) B Pharm and M Pharm salary is not that different. M pharm gets 1-2k higher salary than B Pharm

maths, because if you for maths you can be good at quant and calculations because CAT requires good level of problem solving skills , but if one thing, if you want to get into IIM then you have to score good in academics, like 75+ is mandatory in 10th 12tha and grad and even people with 90+ are not able to crack iims then you have FMS where only 99 plus CAT score is sufficient
