Thank you! My 1998 Jeep Wrangler just turned 90,000 miles and my mechanic is going to tune it up while it gets inspected..so I've been curious for the avg. cost of a tune up.

Costs vary quite a bit depending on what is needed. Also the type of spark plugs cam make a big difference. There are the conventional copper resistor plugs that are about $2.50 per plug, Platinum plugs $4-$12 per plug double platinum and iridium can run $30 per plug

I've seen shops try to charge 80 bucks for plugs you could buy for 20. The mark up is crazy.
