A video of a guy emptying change out of washing machines at a laundromat shows up in everyone's recommended list but none of my martial arts videos ever do of course. Thanks KZbin! This guy uploaded his video one month ago and he has over half a million views. I started my channel three years ago and all of my videos combined (all 500+ of them) have less than 10,000 views. I worked in a cash office and I was very good at finding counterfeits. Our bill counter couldn’t tell the difference between the real and fake ones because it used an image type verification instead of a UV verification. So a photocopied bill would “pass” its test. However I’m very detail attentive and since I worked with money for a long time I could tell just by the feel and a quick glance that a bill could be counterfeit. There’s security features on every bill type and knowing what to look for at a quick glance can help weed them out. I never saw fake $1s - $10s but I did find several fake $20s, 50s and 100s. Even the new blue $100 bill. And it baffled me when I saw one of the new fake $100 bills because I’m like how did the cashier not pick this up? If you want tips on what to look for on bills you think are counterfeit I can help. You have cameras so if you do find a counterfeit you can contact the police or the US Secret Service. The Secret Service are who you should really call for counterfeits. That’s their department.

I'm confused about the coin machine. You said you collected 406 in bills but 53 of that was from the coke/snack machine. They were not exchanged for coins. That means $353 were exchanged for quarters. So if you collected $365 in quarters from all the machines, then you actually put $12 extra into the coin exchanger, not $40 less. That's why people harp about collecting and counting them separately. When you do it together your coin machine looks like quarters left, when you do it separately, you realize quarters came in.

Go look at some videos on ATMs being attacked. The excavator bucket is going to come in that window above them, and angle down, and pull. Move them to an interior wall that is NOT SHARED with any adjacent business. I had a friend in Las Vegas who had a small convenience store which closed at night, and they came through the vacant unit next door. No one alarms vacant units next door. Not only did they take the cash, but the machine hasn't been located, and the wall repairs were another expense. Move the Money stacker off the outside wall. Call the Burglary Division of your local Police Department, and ask them to look at this video, and read my comments.

uhm... isn't it obvious that you can do that when you can see the normal lock ? What you can't lockpick is the coin exchanger that has a different mechanism

This is awesome, but I've always thought this was hardly worth it due to laundry machines and vending machines constantly needing maintenance. Him mentioning in the video several times that a machine was out of service verified my suspicion. I bet a lot of what he makes goes into repairs.

If a machine is empty then maybe it does not work. When do you check to make sure they all work okay. Do you have something that they could leave a note on a machine that has a problem? Then how much time was this before you took out the cash? Also how much is your rent, elect, gas. upkeep on machines, products you sell, cleaning supplies, etc? Once added in everything how much profit do you make a month? Oh and what was your initial investment cost for all equipment?

I used to work for one of the big two soda companies running their vending business in a market and you ABSOLUTELY get have more turn on machines with a card reader. They're also easier to fill as the wireless device also transmits what sold in the machine so you know (at least in theory if it's working) how much you need to replenish, if there's a jam, etc. That said I don't know how much those card readers cost- I know they were very expensive, I want to say like $1500, and for as many machines as we had there was a third party that handled the sort of back end data administration. Not sure how that would impact the margin, but yeah I'd say a machine with a card reader would do maybe 5-6x the sales.

@@muaazlimbada2410 I did notice that at after posting the comment, but it looks like a pice of round stock that's been flattened a bit about a quarter inch from the end.
