I found this channel a couple of years ago, and to me the charm is in the short and sweetness of it al, i click a video, you get jumped on, done. Too bad there is no way to get monetized that way so I understand that you have to make longer videos. I do have an idea for a longer video though: ask a freerunner to (ab)use you as part of his course, should be interesting. Anyway, good luck man!

Dude, I feel you. I have less watch hours than I do hours of content total, and I'm nowhere close to monetization so far.

Yeah - its a big hurdle to get over to the initial monetization. It was quite a shift that KZbin made - its actually quite awhile ago now, I think something like two years, changing from focusing on views to watchtime. Again - not that I started the channel to make money, but it was always kind of a nice thought that if somehow it blew up there could be some kind of financial return from it eventually. Jump on John was actually monetized back before the changes - but... it brought in a grand total of like... I think about $100 the whole time it was up, so its not like it was any kind of serious revenue source. But with the way things are now it seems like there is really zero financial potential without restructuring the way the videos are made.

I think it's incredibile, 'cause your channel is simply wonderful... maybe silly KZbin's rules consider your videos not suitable for sponsor because your contents. I hope to have more luck, 'cause I do similar things.
