Hi ya'll ! Welcome Back!
In this video, we're just going to talk about my journey through different business structures. The best thing about being in this industry is the different ways we can build a flexible schedule. YOU are definitely in charge of how much you can make in this industry. There's always a way! I'm thankful I was able to experience different types of clients so I can share with people that there really is more ways to grow than what we are told in schools. I hope this insight is helpful and allows you to think about your own ways of growing in the spaces you guys are at. MUCH LOVE!!

There's definitely more than one way to do anything. I'm going to take you through my personal journey of different shops I've worked in and it's completely exposed me to understanding that BARBERS have the ability to charge "Salon" pricing. We're extremely lucky to be in the industry that we're in because we can promote ourselves. Knowledge is power ya'll! Make sure your surroundings always encourage growth. I want the best for all of you

I remember when I first started getting serious in cutting hair and was making $1200 a month and I was hyped, now I make $1200+ a week and feel like I could go even higher. I love this industry and the fact that sky’s truly the limit. All depending on how you brand yourself and show the love behind the trade, people will love that and will pay almost any price you set yourself at.

That’s awesome Sofie, very helpful and i think everything you said make a lot of sense. I really wanna to grow in the barbering industry, right now i just a student but, i watched a lot of KZbin tutorials, contents from making the right money, open your own business, to introduce your own line of products, it’s just amazing. We actually need more people like you, so that could be very much inspirational to people like myself. Again thanks so much Sofie! I appreciate you...much respect ✊🏼 StayGold!

Thank you for putting things into perspective for me and our industry I never have done commission always booth rent and I’m considering commission now for reasons it seems to me that the commission barber shop has a awesome scenery and booth rent shops had more of the fades taper and lineups almost all day and I do everything I’ve been in cosmetology and barber school and has been off and on since 1994 I was 17 years old and the most behind the chair was 7 years straight and I always had customers so I took on a different career and hated it and now I actually went back to school and got my license and all my clientele in the school I had on lockdown they made their own choices and asked to go to nobody else but me and it must have been 20 -30 clients I just couldn’t taken them seriously cause it’s a school and I did appreciate the attention so now I’m looking for awesome ship and crew to grow with I have alot of skills in every area I am humble with it and always I will remain teachable.nice content

Money isnt everything. If you have the passion and drive to do what you do the money will come in this industry. People just want instant results and lack the patience and work ethic to make a real career out of being a barber.
@Staygold31
@Staygold31 4 жыл бұрын
I agree with you! People always want to make sure its “worth it” and it is totally going to be whatever you truly want it to be 😃

@@Staygold31 Yeah there are still a lot of barbers out there that see this as a side hussle or something like that than an actual career. One of the beauties of being a barber is that there is no limit to how much you can make. Its really up to you. Many professions have a cap on how much they can make. Its a blessing and there is always possibilities of growth.
@Staygold31
@Staygold31 4 жыл бұрын
Exactly !! Endless. U can self promote yourself when you feel it’s right for you! No cap at all. Everyone has their own story and journey so i don’t even knock people who do it as a side hustle and it’s probably why there’s so many opinions about all spectrums of our industry. To each their own. Success is gona look different for each person. U just gotta own what that is to you and be proud of it. ❤️
