Besides the times we see Mr. Krabs get his “just desserts” with giving away food & such because of the bikini bottom police using it as punishment or something else Outlandish, Mr. Krabs doesn’t have a nice lifestyle because with all the money he makes, he literally isn’t spending it on luxury items, because he literally doesn’t spend his money & has an actual romantic relationship with the physical object of cold hard cash itself. In the episode where he was able to talk to money, he literally fights & argues with the literal cash because the cash tells him they have a sort of pleasure of being spent on things, but again, his relationship with cold hard cash is why he doesn’t spend on anything except for security measures with his secret formula, like the riot security team that delivers the secret ingredient, or all the traps to prevent the formula from getting stolen by Plankton. The only other times he willingly spent his own money he makes was when he had the short love affair in the earlyier SpongeBob seasons with Miss Puff. Dare I say it’s for his actual physical love of cold hard cash itself, why we don’t ever see Peral’s Mother, because no doubt, Mr. Krabs choose his love over literal cold hard cash over an actual living creature.

Plus other side businesses like his mobile food truck, the krusty dogs, krusty pizza and on-site Krusty Krab stalls at fairs and other gimmicks, he easily has cleared $5 mil to me. Though, on the low end $4.5 is a lot for a small crustation, even with living expenses for himself and his daughter and also the ongoing relationship with Mrs. Puff thrown in.
