Tomac is dialed. His dad, as we all know, was a world champion bicycle racer. His mother was also a world class bicyclist. His brother is a fighter pilot. Eli is all business. He gets it done and he wins. Respect deeno!!

All the planets aligned for Tomac. He has the perfect formula for winning and that’s exactly what he does. Absolute legend. I had the chance to race him locally at a sand track in sterling CO. He was still on a supermini and checked out from all the local pros on 250’s and 450’s. He was probably 13-14 years old!

I understand Deno's feelings when he first got into the 450s there were still some previous generation dominators. But he's racing people he's beat & needs to get that mental edge back

Love to see someone like him who shows respect to his parents snd works hard at what he does. He puts himself in position to win but then works his butt off, he does not expect just to win but by putting himself in that spot and following it up by hardworking. Staying humble success will come when you work for it

That Seattle Race i was there!!! it was super sick!!!! i was the only one standing up watching that race live everyone else sat down and they stood for 450s cause villipoto.. but he had already wrapped up the championship. and Dean took tomac off the track 2 times to pass him.. .and tomac would catch him clean and pass him easy. and then dean finally took him off the track a 3rd time and Tomac had enough. after the finish dean went wide and Tomac took the inside to take the line away and lost traction and dean didnt let off. that was by far the best seattle supercross race i saw in person. !!! amazing race.

It seems like to me Tomac training up at I think 8500 ft or something like that, Which is higher than any track on the circuit indoors or out, so it seems like when he comes down in elevation to race with all that extra oxygen it's like he's got a turbo on his body and his bike, while we have seen several people pull out of races not being able to deal with the high elevation.

Which is likely why most Olympians and endurance atheltes train here in Colorado. Why more don't is beyond me. Florida has heat but training with les oxygen(15-20%) does way more for endurance.

It’s better to have been born and raised in that high elevation which one can’t do later in life. People can acclimate all they want but will never compare to someone like Eli who was literally created in high elevation. Same goes for like the sherpas in the Himalayas, they r built different cuz of being born and raised in high elevation. Moving later in life won’t do enough

Tomac is on another level 100% dialed in! He's been a top tier rider, on a good team/bike with the best sponsors ect for years now. He 100% deserves however much he earns, no drama injuries ect he's the prototype & mold that every brand/company wants.

@@randal3122 yeah it actually looks like he's going slow sort of by himself if that makes sense, then you look at his lead or him next to the guys in last place and the dudes actually flying. Combo of his insane skill on a dirtbike, the actual physical shape he's in and stays in year round and then how ridiculously fast, smooth & comfortable that 23' Yamaha yz 450 f is from star & monster. Even in the 250 class, Haidens first race and getting 4th place was insans as well & kinda has the exact same thing & look going for him as well. Seems that star Yamaha team has their riders & those insane bikes finely tuned and in peak shape for sure. excited to see what the rest of the season has in store. The sport is progressing super fast & really well , would love to see it and the riders more mainstream on tv and whatnot like mlb, mls, NBA, NFL etc

@@C-24-Brandan i thought he always looked crazy fast on the kawi too. i think its just his riding style looks fast to me too, but he is always haulin. but ya star yamaha is dialed in. i agree, its still weird to me that the sport doesnt have the kind of money behind it that the other sports do. even than nascar. and its not even close. maybe its just that it takes people that are into dirtbikes to relate to it?
@C-24-Brandan
@C-24-Brandan Жыл бұрын
@@randal3122 yea he was super fast on the Kawi too for sure his record etc shows that. I dunno I find it more exciting than other motor sports like the nascar trucks, some monster truck events and a lot of people ride motorcycles in general. I think If it had a big push, right marketing team and races on days/times people are around to watch every week it'd take off. I'd gladly watch a full 250 & 450 day of racing over nascar, superbike racing, nascar trucks, monster trucks any day. Like if they had races on before like NFL games on Sundays or something like that I'd think a lot of people would tune in esp bc of how many watch nascar, F1, monster trucks, super bikes and those aren't as exciting at least to me or visually appealing to actually be able to sit there for a full start to finish race. Or if they did em on like Monday, wed or Friday nights or something else even
