Thanks for the insights around picking a high value niche like business. I think this will be particularly helpful to everyone who doesn't have a niche yet, but be aware obviously that don't just pick a niche for the money. If you hate accounting, it'll be a tough slog getting to 10k subscribers producing accounting content!

Very helpful and nice to see info that speaks directly to creators hoping for search traffic that compounds over time. KZbin seems to hold a lot of possibilities in this area, but the idea of making a video per week forever is overwhelming.

I think it's doable if I got into a routine, but it was exciting to see that even a quality set of videos over time made a difference (and started getting picked up by the algorithm). So I've finally focused on a plan of action and identified my target market for my new venture that will delve into education/training for crypto assets and more. I've got a ton of content and decades of experience on investing. I've been following you but not intensely because I'm working on the old plus the new plus all sorts of distractions. That’s amazing, congratulations on your channel launch! And great question. I’ll have to make a note for a future video, since I’d have to get detailed to do this answer justice. But the TLDR (aka summary): I earn significantly more selling online courses, but I earn more than I ever expected from affiliate marketing. (That’s just my experience, and might not be universal.) Both are great; I usually recommend that they go hand in hand.

Can you share how you were able to grow your email list so high prior to getting on KZbin? My main source of marketing is KZbin, but I would like to know other ways to build my email list besides social media. It is! And the online business world has evolved a lot, and I think everyone has their own personal mix of what might work best for them. Yes, you're right, that was a 2024 update from KZbin. The subscriber threshold is now 500 subscribers and 3000 watch hours.
