This is the most realistic POD video I've seen, almost all of them try to state that you'll be making thousands of dollars each day, and then plug a course in or some other utilities they offer. This video is showing honest growth, what it probably looks like for the majority of people who are putting in lots of effort.

I LOVE the transparency because running a successful shop isn't always the overnight success story that people love to sell. I've had a couple of different Etsy shops and concepts, taken LONG breaks, and recently reopened a few months ago. I also work full time and don't plan on quitting anytime soon so I TOTALLY get those days when you just don't have it in you. My focus next year is the Three Ps: Planning, Prioritizing, and Producing. (I just made that last P up while I typed this. LOL) I have a lot of ideas I need to just try out. Just fyi Etsy will often ban new accounts to make sure you’re not a spam or robot account. If you appeal the ban they will (usually) reinstate the account within a week. So don’t take it is you are banned for life or that you did anything wrong

I’ve been on Etsy since Jan with a full time job doing POD. I have made over 800 sales, 30K revenue. I feel like I work on my shop all the time and the biggest problem I have with continuing is copycats. Every time I gain traction with a listing someone swoops in and copies it and lists below my price. I’ve reported several shops and listings and have been successful getting some taken down but then they will file false counter claims on you. I have found my designs and mockup photos on random internet stores, it’s crazy how scummy people are. It’s a very cut throat business to be in and not sure if I think it is worth continuing. I said I would give it a year so we will see how q4 treats me and will decide then.
