Many moons ago, as a sixteen year old kid, I built a '85 ZX900. Before I converted it to injection and boosted it, it was putting out 167hp. That was with bigger carbs from a more modern liter bike. After the turbo and fuel injection, it was 209hp on a dyno. It was insanely fast. Definitely more than I could handle in the twisties. Built a custom swingarm for a 200mm tire, six inches longer than stock and swapped the frontend for a later model with better brakes.

@kruesioriginals2 ай бұрын
We have the kids on our website. I would say put a cam in a turbo on it. It will make a ton of power and it’s smooth and reliable.
Does Harley do anything special with the crankshaft and rods for their bottom ends on their 135’s? Also, what camshaft comes in that thing when you buy it from HD? Did you change the camshaft on this 135 with your Assassin turbo kit? When you removed the cam cover on the pinion side to replace with the Trask unit, did you happen to measure the run out? Kind of curious to see what it was..

@EARDRUMASSASSIN2 ай бұрын
It doesn’t seem like they did; but also aren’t running a ton of boost at it yet. I’m assuming around 5psi. If they run more boost they will definitely have to gap them rings more.
@nathanmortenson9142 ай бұрын
@EARDRUMASSASSIN He said later in the video the motor wasn't broken properly they're gonna have to go threw it at so point. They'll probably do it then. Turbo car guys put a lot of emphasis on "gap the rings" I don't know why bikes would be different.
