I agree with Nick Wright, the 49ers should dump Purdy as quickly as possible, and use his salary to get a real winning QB, one that has better than a 81% winning percentage (17-4 as a starter), who has a better QBR in the league than Brock (72.8, he was actually first), 4th best yards/game passing of QBs that started more than 16 games, 2nd best completion percentage (Dak had 69.5, Brock was 69.4), the list goes on. I agree with Nick Wright! The 49ers need to dump his inflated salary, and use it to get a QB with better numbers!!! I'm sure they can find several willing to come to SF and play for $500,000 per year! All he does is win, he needs to do more! (At least according to Nick)

Are you simple or just not understanding the question? Not to mention Dak was once "the golden boy"/"new kid on the block" until he got injured. Brock has had literally one of the absolute best situations to start a career as a QB that someone could ask for. He has some of the absolute best skill position players to back him up and make his job easier, and his defense keeps him from having to actually win games on his own. Put Brock on the Giants and he suddenly won't be so good would he? Brock definitely has pressure on him because he was in the superbowl last year and his coach/gm have gotten rid of previous QB's that took the 49ers to a superbowl or conference championship without any worry. He needs to prove he isn't expendable, otherwise he will be known as a bad contract after he gets paid and they can't afford superstars on offense or defense.

The lore of Nick's QB takes goes back years ago when Mahomes came out of the gate on fire statistically, winning almost every game and with the eye test. Everyone told him to "wait and see" for YEARS. Even after 50 TDs, 5,000 yards, and an MVP. Even after a Superbowl. So now, every year, it's a new QB without the same level of production as Mahomes consistently being touted as "better" or "as good as" - without the "wait and see" attitude - Nick simply rejects those takes out of pocket. And he is still not wrong, honestly. The biggest reason he doesn't weigh QB wins, is because nobody seemed to give weight to QB wins when Patrick was winning all the time. The popular take was that 'everybody before Patrick' was what led to the Chiefs winning. Like #15 was just along for the ride. Nobody in the org had won a Superbowl (except for Andy as an assistant) before Patrick, and now they have three, going for four. But somehow, Allen, Burrow, Lamar, Purdy, and others just go straight to the front of the line for almost doing things. 🤷

Purdy got Paper Avengers. OL is trash and can't pass block. Kittle is his best weapon playing lineman because of trash OL. WRs can't beat man because there's no legit WR1 (Aiyuk feels product of the system, surrounded by guys that give him easy matchups). Deebo is a RB who can't run routes or get separation. 49ers are spending $40m a year on 2 RBs, Deebo and CMC.

He's the 1st established starter to be scrutinised on a per throw basis in training camps practice that I can remember. And yes of course he's under lots of pressure this year. According to Nick there is absolutely nothing Brock Purdy can do to pass Dak Prescott on the top ten (using Dak as an example) My question is what has Joe Burrow done in his whole career that Purdy hasn't done it first 2 years. Burrow has a better offensive line, Burrow has better receivers, Purdy has better numbers across the board, and Purdy is more mobile.
