I still forget this at times..but am getting better....I find I do it when building up the eyes of animals...then I am toast...just like the art! great info!

Really interesting and useful to find out that pastelmat surfaces may vary according to batch, hence the need for a pressure test for each project. I noticed a white sheet to have a much more velvety finish than a sand coloured sheet I have recently been working on.

So helpful. I get inpatient and before I know it I'm in trouble. After a few times of going in too dark early on and realizing there were serious errors it's finally getting through.
