At 3:20 you say the blue boat was exonerated. Thats incorrect. In the Case Book the blue boat (PL) is disqualified.

The exoneration mentioned at 3:20 was for Rule 14. The blue boat was not exonerated for breaking Rule 19 (2:51). Nonetheless, the distinction could have been clearer.

Case 11 - red boat should have tacked. Was their argument that they just discovered the starboard boat and had to quickly fall off? A boat on course, not at mark, is an obstruction? Nonsense. It became an obstruction only if the red boat claims they had no idea traffic was in front of them until the last moment. Weak.

Case 125 is the same thing. Play it out. Instead of 3 boats, imagine there are 20. Now, all the boats fall off and the last boat in line gets hit. The boat that got hit is at fault? That is absurd and makes no sense if that is truly the rule.
