If you're buying a new setup make sure to look at an Etha 2 over the Gtek 170r. While it lacks the cosmetic features of the Gtek, it has the exact same bolt system and shoots the same for much cheaper.

Having a full aluminum body with a screen to program firing modes along with a endless selection of awesome colors is worth the extra money for the 170 . If you don't care that your gun looks like a rental and is plastic then the etha will do it's a good gun ,but if you're looking for more of a high end quality , feel and look with full programming capabilities then the 170 is definitely the choice .

@@BAGofTALENT its glass reinforced nylon its not plastic its called composite its more durable than steel and why its used in military and modern firearms aswell as some airsoft and paintball guns now. if you care about cosmetics like he said go with 170r but in terms of actual use on fields your limited 99% of the time to 10bps and in rec rental player games most fields dont even allow full auto modes period. these guns internally are the same gun and shoot the same. soo if your budget conscious not playing paid tournaments go with the etha 2

never had an issue with my ltr ever. Never had a jam ,never had to clean it except wiping it off after being shot. reliable as hell. hell I haven't even changed the batteries in the 3 years of use.

Spire IR is nice and all but I'd pick the LTR every time. The build quality is ridiculously good on the LTR, the things bulletproof. And I've found I've only ahd about 5 jams total with my LTR in over a year of using and every time it jammed, pull back the shark fin once and its working perfectly. The IR just feels quite flimsy and I don't think the build quality is as nice. Also all the electronics are near the feed neck, so if you get some bad paint in your hopper it can mess up the whole thing, which is the exact reason I'm going back to the LTR.

Ok so here is my setup for 1,150 Planet Eclipse ETHA3, Virtue Spire 260 hopper, Empire 68ci 4500 psi carbon fiber bottle, and HK Army LAZR XL barrel kit! Also my g7n is set to NXL ! It all works and I would put that against any pro gun !

Personally, I'd switch out the tank for First Strike Hero just for the adjustable reg collar. Can't stand fill nipples and such digging into my wrist, and the Heroes are almost always on sale for about the same price. Another gun option I'd throw out there to get the setup well below $1000 is an Etek5. Love mine

I think the PC Gtek 170r is my next gun. It just looks likes like great value. Shocker Looks good too and I like the freak barrel but it doesn’t looks as quality to me.

Great video- and I have watched many of your vids as I have been getting back into the sport. You have mentioned consistent velocity a few times - obviously there are many variables there... What is the most consistent marker out there? My golden eye gun from back in the day was a Toxic Matrix- that thing was just stupid consistent - is there anything out there today that can match that? Etha2 is a great gun for all weather conditions. $480 not bad for what you get. Or the emek at $280. Best electronic marker at that price point. Sold it to get my shocker xls but have emek100 as a back up.

Yes it's better in ergonomics and ease of maintenance. Shoots the same as the 2.0. Btw, you dont need to look bad ass with certain markers to shoot good! Learn how to shot with multiple different markers. The looks of a marker shouldn't hold you back besides your own ego

The internals are the same as the axe and the reg, while a slightly different design, doesn't perform any better. The biggest change aside from the ergonomics is the fact that you can service the reg without buying special tools and voiding the warranty

Go on Facebook and look around on the bst pages and you'll find way better deals on equipment and guns. A luxe ice is a VERY good gun especially for being 15 it didn't very much better and I would aim for a ninja or hk tank if your can get a good deal but like Brad said in the video all tanks are relatively the same other then the reg. For your luxe ice it can take between 350-550 reg pressure which is the average pressure that comes set on a majority of tank setups. Just ask the seller what their pressure is set at and soon for what I said. Most if not all standard pressure regs are adjustable to a certain range.

I've been using dye loaders for many years and never jammed one time. The dye loaders also have tension adjustment options and sometimes that can affect the outcome. You have to find the sweet spot but usually the stock placement works just fine

custom soft goods are a luxury and imo a waste of money, even more so when you're only 11 and you'll quickly outgrow them. Just stick to generic sports knee/elbow pads and durable pants like jeans till you're done groowing
